You had reported a problem with my photo request for Ida Hess at Sacred Heart Cemetery. I have that she was cremated with inurnment at Sacred Heart. Perhaps that is the problem with you not finding her grave?

Jerome and Richard Roznowski headstones

Thank you so much for taking pictures of the headstones for me. I really appreciate all the time & effort that it takes to be able to get out to the cemetery and take the pictures. These are relatives of my brother-in-law and we live down in Texas and would never be able to make a trip of that distance. Thank you so much for helping in this matter.

RE: Correction
Ohhhhh. I apologize for not reading your entire post. I am not feeling well...that's my excuse. Recovering from that nasty stomach virus.
I will make the correction.
Thank you for taking your time to photograph headstones for families.

Thank You Leanna!
I really want to thank you so much for the picture and the place my great great grandmother is buried. My mother told me she was buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery, but according to your pisture and the info she is in a different cemetery! Wow, truth is great and trying to find her would be so hard.

Again, thank you so much,

RE: Daniel Chapman
Not a problem! My 3rd great grandparents (Hiram John Collier and Nancy Sullivan) are buried in Chapman cemetery and I thought that the Chapman family line was part of mine, and the coincidence is surprising-I have lost the family line on that side and the only person I could find that fit the name and place married a Chapman and so them being there seemed to make sense, but from what I can find, James T Collier and Permelia Chapman (Daniel's gdaughter, I believe)had no children, so I am totally stuck now. I think that they are buried there because of her family line, not his. Anyway, I ran into someone who knows the man who keeps up the cemetery and she asked about Daniel and he said that he is buried in a cemetery in Vienna, but I cannot remember which one. Truly odd, I know, considering that the cemetery is named after him? Yes, I am "on a mission" to find the Collier family line and always like to share information! My email directly is ALL of my family lines were in Southern Illinois by 1850, at least back 3 generations, which I have documented. Debbie Collier

RE: Aaron P. Beard

No problem! I had actually taken a photo of that stone back in October 2010 when it was still upright, but I failed to notice that Aaron was on one side of it. It turns out he shares that stone with Dennis and Clarence Beard. Brothers, I guess. So, I do have a photo of it when it was in better shape, but it was from the Dennis/Clarence side and not the Aaron side. That's why I took a new one from Aaron's side of the way it looks now, on the ground. And, in the earlier photo the tree in the background was still alive. The big tree died this year and has since been cut down. All that's left is the stump. :(

RE: Miller Family Photos
For the mispelling of the Miller name on their tombstones just look at the recent Miller tombstones that you posted for me. Also, when you have time could you please also add memorials and the photos for the other Miller family that you found? It would be greatly appreciated. I know that Nicholas and Dorothea had 12 children by the 1900 census and only 5 were living at that time. Need to do more research but know I'm missing Anthony, Charles & George Miller.

Miller Family Photos
Thanks so much for the Miller family photos. Sacred Heart church records show that Frank is buried there also - I guess he just doesn't have a marker. Did you notice that Miller was spelled Miiller on their marker? Did you, by chance, find any more Miller's in that family plot? Hope it wasn't too hot for you - it's miserable here!
