Find A Grave Memorials: 182214658 & 182214875
Hi VDR:

Thank you for transferring Grace Emaline Hulcher Allen's memorial to my account. I added Grace E. Allen's obituary from the historical Illinois State Journal Register newspaper to her memorial.

Isle Maria Dorothea Kappenberg and Friedrich Dietrich Höltje have two living grandchildren: Hellen Allen Hellner and Austin Hulcher. I have a large collection of Hulcher family history and pictures from my Uncle Robert Warren Becker. I mailed a copy of the pictures to Hellen Hellner and Austin Hulcher to help identify who is who. Hellen was able to identify her mother, father, sister, and brother, etc.

Would you be so kind to transfer Heinrich Wilhelm Hulcher and Lillie Hulcher memorials 182214658 & 182214875 to my account 48392927? The next time I visit my mother, I will check the Lincoln Library Sangamon Valley collection for the "Tombstone Revelations in Macoupin County Illinois." I will check the Macoupin County Tombstone Revelations for Heinrich and Lillie Hulcher's tombstone locations. Also, Moore Cemetery in Carlinville Illinois is within driving distance. I will check Moore Cemetery for Heinrich and Lillie Hulcher's tombstones.

Thanks,
John

Thank you for this pic. I appreciate your time and effort dedicated to doing this. Because I know first hand what it's like searching cemeteries and the research that goes along with it to properly complete a memorial.
Sincerely

Dear VDR, very many thanks indeed for your endeavors.
I understand that her son visited England later that year and I now suspect he brought her remains with him to be laid with her husband. (Now trying to find details of son in the USA!)
This is my first time with this site and I am very impressed and so now in the process of doing photo requests in Cornwall and Devon in England. I will certainly not match your output. Well done and, again, many, many thanks. Bryon Mason

Many thanks for the wonderful photos posted on Find A Grave Memorial #44843419 for Lee Stock. The photo request was made on a Sunday and by the following day you posted the photo -- it doesn't get any better than that!

Thank you so much for your help in locating my paternal grandmother grave site. I knew very little about this person. I am her granddaughter from a long time ago - parents divorced and there was no contact with Elizabeth - now I have info on her.

Thank you for your excellent information about Mark's cremains. Now I will have to figure out how to put him in a virtual cemetery.

Appreciate your assistance very much.

RE: 68202989 Alice Frances Gale
Guess what I found today - a newspaper article in the Oregonian from Sunday Oct 14, 1900 for the marriage of Alice Frances Pritchard to L. Harry Gurney on Oct. 08, 1900. Also there is a site transfer from ancestry to the Oregon Marriage Index for their marriage, but it comes up as an Error when trying to connect to it. So the plot thickens. Still can't find anything on her death as of yet. I know she was born after Jennie & Harry got married. They were married in Greeley, Weld, Colorado, Nov. 08, 1882 according to their marriage certf., Alice was born July 31, 1883. Haven't been able to find any more "yet" and can't find anything on her husband, L. Harry Gurney. Will keep trying though. Thanks again for trying.

Thank you for your wonderful photography. I just saw your photos of my parents' graves--Carl R. Kasch and Henrietta H. Kasch--in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Jefferson County, Colorado. Thank you so much for volunteering your time to honor their memory. I am very grateful. Barbara R

Joseph and Nellie Gallagher
I am wondering if you would be willing to transfer Nellie E (171098205)and Joseph W Gallagher (171098144) to me? Nellie is my husband's great Aunt sister to his maternal grandmother. I already have her parents and brother also buried at Mt Olivet in Wheat Ridge.
Thank you in advance.

Josephine Roche
Burial information was provided by another Find A Grave contributor-unfortunately, I can not locate that e-mail. Wikipedia has her name as Josephine Aspinwall Roche and lists her spouse as Edward Hale Bierstadt. It appears that he is buried in Long Island National Cemetery. I checked the Nationwide Gravesite Locator any posting for Josephine and did not find any. I'll check the obits early next week. Thanks.

Anna Madden
Hello, I am the 4x great grand daughter of Anna Madden. I added my 3x great grandmother Mary to a note connected to Anna. Mary is buried with her mother, but has no marker. I was wondering if that is ever a consideration when you are chronicling the graves? I did not find out myself until I visited the cemetery and consulted with the office to assist me. I already have a picture of her grave, I was just wondering about the unmarked graves, if they are taken into account. Thank you for all your hard work, as a family historian, it is a wonderful tool to find a grave that you would otherwise not be able to find or see unless traveling to that destination. I also added the obituary for Mary with the note incase anyone is interested in it. Debbie

68202989 Alice Frances Gale
I have been looking for the grave of Alice Pritchard, daughter of Harry Norman Pritchard and Jennie Celestia Gale Pritchard. I learned of this memorial when I requested a picture of her brother Frank Gale Pritchard's grave marker and was told he didn't have one. Do you have any other information on Alice, everything I have from family records and what I have found, pretty much match the information you have except the last name. She is with the family in the 1885 Colorado census and the 1900 U.S. Census as Pritchard. Jennie and Harry got married in Nov 1882. Of course if this is Alice, James Otis Gale would be her grandfather. Harry is the half brother to my grandfather and I am trying to fill in family. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I tried to reach you through your e-mail but was unable to.

Harry has three 1/2 brothers all sons of Anna Elizabeth (Watson). Two other links, besides Harry's, are shown on her her memorial link. The only one that is not shown is John Watson Vogan - who I found in a diary of my grandmothers, died in 1939 in Portland, and was cremated. At one time he was the owner & president of the Vogan Candy Company, AKA Modern Confectionary Company before retiring. I am trying to find if he and his wife were placed somewhere but haven't been able to, so far. Thank you for your consideration.

You created the memorial for a William Horst #164438678. Did you post that as a random picture or do you have any knowledge of him? I believe I may have a photo of him but, wanted to verify that it really was him. If you have any further info on him, I'd appreciate it, especially if you know about any military service, perhaps an obituary. He is not a relative of mine, I am only trying to reunite a photo with it's family. Thank you
Corrie
