Brian J. Ensley
RE: Sandyvale Cemetery
You're very welcome. Since we only get a limited amount of requests per week I figured I'd pass that along so you don't waste them. It's sad what's become of that cemetery.

Sandyvale Cemetery
All of the headstones that remain in this cemetery have been photographed/posted. Unfortunately this cemetery had been severely damaged due to several major floods and being that it is located along a major river in town, many of the stones were washed away. If this person does not have a headstone photo, either the person is in an unmarked grave, or else they were one of the many people who were eventually re-interred in other area cemeteries (on higher ground).

Chrisman Cemetery
Hi Harley

I also found the same coordinates from another forum.

http://genforum.genealogy.com/chrisman/messages/709.html

It was very informative, according to the posts Chrisman Cemetery no longer exists.

I hope you can view the forum article for other missing pieces, and I hope this assists you in your research, good luck!

Charlene

Jim Rush
Chrisman Cemetery
Harley,
I've been searching for Chrisman Cemetery to fulfill for photo requests.
This resource - http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mojackso/chrisman.htm, narrowed it down to Section 15, Township 47, Range 32 in Jackson County MO.
With that information, from http://www.earthpoint.us/Townships.aspx I determined the coordinates of that area - a 644 acre area the center of which is about at the intersection of Scherer Road and Sampson Road at/near Lee's Summit.
I did a drive by today, but nothing was visible from the road. My next step is to ask some of the long-time residents of large properties if they know anything about it; and to call the parks department because some of that area is city park property (a horse trail).
However, if you or anyone on this forum may have other clues about the location of Chrisman Cemetery (family grave site), please share what you know.

I guess that makes us cousins. Find A Grave has been a great source of information, finding siblings and their descendants of my direct ancestors.

Thank you for posting a picture of Nancy Sprague Churchill. She was married to my 4th Great Uncle, Levi Churchill. Levi's sister Lydia Churchill George was my 4th Great Grandmother. With your permission, I will add Nancy's picture to my family tree with credit to you.
Thank you again.

John A. Binkey
I saw your request for John A. Binkey's tombstone picture at Westmoreland County memorial Park. I stopped in the office that John A. Binkey was in lot 40 at East Front. John A. must not have a tombstone or marker the only person I found was John E. Binkey and grass all around him. No tombstones.

Sorry
Bye
Franny
