If you call Acacia Park Cemetery and Mausoleum at 773-625-7800 and:
1. Ask if your photo request person has a headstone / grave marker.
2. If there is a headstone / grave marker ask for the section, block, lot and grave number.
3. If you send that information to me, Susan (#48964989) I will go there and fulfill your photo request. Of course any other Find A Grave volunteer can also fulfill your request if you then add the headstone location information to your photo request page.

|Cathy||Cemetery charges for location look-up|
Hi Rita. I did a "claim" for your photo request and plan to go to Chapel Hill next week. However, I spoke to Richard at the cemetery this morning. He said they charge $10 per name to look up location records. I may be able to find the grave on my own if your relative is buried near my husband's Schumacher & Gehrs relatives. If you know the grave section or specific plot that would help. Otherwise, let me know if you still want me to look for it and how you'd prefer to send me the fee.
Blessings, Cathy Schumacher

|Mary Arvidson||St Adalbert Cemetery-John Sniegowski|
Hi Rita-I also posted pics for the other John Sniegowski and his wife, Harriet. I sent edit to Russ C to update their birth/death dates, to add Stephen as John's middle name and to connect them as spouses. (sources Cook County death index, Social Security records and John's draft registration from WWI)...Mary

|Mary Arvidson||St Adalbert Cemetery-Adeline Sniegowski|
Hi Rita-I filled your request for Adeline. She is buried with her husband, John S Sniegowski (1913-1985). I also loaded the rest of the pictures from the Gronek/Sniegowski monument. The only one missing a memorial page is Albert Gronek (1863-1943) who is on the front of the monument with Michalina Gronek, probably his wife. Let me know when you make pages for John and Albert and I'll post the pictures...Mary

I would be happy to do this requests for you at Chapel Hill Gardens West if you can get section,plot,grave, etc. I just started back doing this and in that time, Chapel Hill started charging $10 for each lookup. But if you call, saying you are a relative they will give you the info.Don't tell them you are doing with Find a grave. For some reason they think find a grave volunteers make money... Their number is 630-941-5860. Let me know if you get that and I will be happy to help. Or if you are out of states, you could mail a request.

|James Bellert||Sr. Pauline Grutzius|
Hi. I fulfilled the photo request you made for Sr. Pauline Grutzius. Sr. Pauline Grutzius was cremated and her ashes were interred atop the grave of Sr. Ethelreda Zaleski. This was confirmed by an office employee who showed me the grave as well as the custodian who remembered doing the burial (as it was done recently). As of today, June 30, 2015, there is no marker for Sr. Pauline Grutzius.

|Mary Arvidson||St Adalbert-Gronek Family|
Hi Rita-I've filled your requests for Albert and Alexander Gronek. I also added pictures to Frank and Michalina Gronek's pages. In addition, the family monument has the following people:
Antoni Gronek (Tony) (Jul 30, 1888-Aug 1, 1917)(Son of Albert and Michalina)
Josephine Gronek (Mar 18, 1893(or 1894)-Mar 31, 1988)(Wife of Frank Gronek)
Frank Gronek (Dec 15, 1920-Dec 15, 1920)(Son of Frank and Josephine Gronek)
Frances Gronek (Feb 4, 1885-Feb 10, 1937)(probably wife of a Joseph Gronek...I'm not sure who he is).
I took pictures of all sides of the "Fam Gronkuw" monument so if you create pages for Antoni, Josephine, Frank and Frances let me know and I'll post pictures....Mary

Glad I could help. I have been looking for the marker for quite a while.
The marker is in the Charles Havey (#65692404) (grandfather?) family plot. Several other Havey family members are buried in the plot.

Hi Rita...I've posted the pictures for your request for Susanne Arendt. It is a two-sided monument and I will post the pictures for Nicholas Sr and Jr as soon as I get done with this message. There is also an "Aunt" Marguerite Arendt (1873-1943) on the monument. If you make a memorial page for her, let me know and I'll post the pictures.
