RE: David Gamble
Check Lakeview Cemetery, Livingston County for David Gamble. You will see him and his wife and most of the children there. You may need to remove David from the Cemetery you have him in? Same birth and death date as your David.

oseph Crisp Jr 1829-1901
It is stated that Joseph Jr., born in England, emigrated from Port of London and arrived in the US in 1834, and then arrived in Michigan in 1841. Could you please tell me what is the source of this information? Is there any information about his family between 1834 and 184?

George Crisp d. 1864
George's mother's name is shown as Martha Wysbet or similar) Crisp whereas I believe her maiden name was Whybrow. Did the Wysbet name come from cemetery records?

Wm Crisp question
I can't make out what the bottom of his headstone says? I see "aged" and that's as far as it goes. The reason is you refer to him as a Jr in the bio and there were 2 Williams that came over on the same boat in 1851. William age 50 and son William age 18.

RE: David Gamble
I confess I'd forgotten about David. I believe you requested a Dave Gamble buried in the Geneseo area but not in Temple Hill Cemetery.
There is a Dave Gamble buried at Temple Hill. This link will take you to a photo of the grave, where you can see if his information makes it possible that he is related.

If you are interested I will be happy to photograph the grave for you, just let me know.

I'm glad you are doing well and can participate in FindaGrave again.

RE: Ella Frances Dickinson
Hi Laura,
Sorry it's taken me awhile to respond. There's a marriage record for Adonijah Jewell & Ellen Whitcomb filed in Hillsdale County. It's not their original marriage record, since the date given is July 8, 1863, after Adonijah's death during the Civil War. Another ancestry member told me that Ellen had to refile the marriage record in order to claim his pension. The ages given on the marriage record were 22 for Adonijah, and 16 for Ellen, which is how old they would have been 10 years earlier in 1853, I think when the original marriage occurred, seems to fit with their children's birth dates. I haven't found much more on Ellen under the name Whitcomb, in 1850 she was living in Scipio with the Birdsall family, and I'm not sure how they're related.
Hope this helps,

I transferred her to you. She is a very distant relative of mine going way back. Glad I could turn her over to a closer relative. robin
