Brenda Smith Jewell
Hester Esther Sedore
Hi Karen, Brenda Jewell here wife of David Jewell direct decendent to William Arthur Jewell# 57075933. Do you have any information on his wife Hester Esther Sedore? Just wondering. We plan a visit up to Cheboygan later this year to go to the Pine Hill Cemetery. We were there for Dave's cousins memorial a couple of weeks ago but they had over a foot of snow and we couldn't get out into the cemetery. We were wondering if Hester may have passed while they lived in Ontario, Canada. Any information will be greatful.

RE: Louise Geddert
Hi ~ I'm not sure who is the sexton of this cemetery; if I get a chance to run over to the County offices next week, I will stop and ask them if they have the contact information. At least then could find the general area of her burial. Will let you know. Robin

Samuel Beers
Thanks for your post. I am looking for documentation of a connection between Samuel and Andrew Jackson Beers as proof for the DAR. I have all the information on Samuel including his pension, but no connection to tie Andrew to Samuel and Elizabeth. This is especially important since he doesn't seem to have a stone in the Sugar Lake Cemetery. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Brenda Smith Jewell
memorial #59268266
Hi, Brenda Smith Jewell here. Allen Wesley Jewell is my husband, David Allen Jewell's Grandfather, he would like to request for you to let us take over his memorial #59268266. We want to link up all the Jewells we know. Dave's father Everett Jewell is still alive and will be 95 in April 2016 if he is blessed to live that long. He is now in a nursing home.

Thank you,

Mary Briggs
George Jewell on Find A Grave
Hi Karen, I just added pictures to Find A Grave Memorial# 77878021. I George is related to you I thought you might want to see these. I think there may be others buried here because Mary's headstone is to the side of the Jewell "blanket" The wording Jewell is at both ends. The one near Mary's stone I didn't enlarge but I will keep the picture a few days so that if you want to see it I can send it to you. I can't make it out very well but it looks to be Jewell with a 70 under it. Mary also in Traverse City.

RE: Capt Howard
Thanks for the transfer. I have been researching the Matthew Howard descendants (Vachel Denton is one) for about a decade now, since my father did a DNA test and found that they are his paternal line. I will take care of Vachel. Katherine

re oliver Decker
I entered the inscription on his memorial.
Death date is clearly 1888. Hope this helps. I had to enlarge it.

RE: Teresa Taylor
I can ask if they would mark the spot and I could place an object there to take a photo of.
Is that what you would like?

It's on the site now, I asked the caretaker if I could leave it there and was told yes. From time to time I'll check on it. I hope it meets your approval. After all she's a TAYLOR, like me.

Loretta Hall
Alfred Jewell
Hi Karen!
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. There is no headstone for Alfred Jewell born in 1907 and died in 1907. I checked all the plots with a baby jewell in them. One plot book shows an Alfred Jewell in section B, block 2, lot 21 but there is no stone. The city offices have a record of his death, he died in Benton township of Cheboygan County. They also have a record of his parents marriage on Nov 17th, 1903. The stone may be overgrown or perhaps he never had one.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I did remove the pictures from the site since they were the wrong stones.
