Daniel& Sarah Unk Frederick
Hi, I was working on my 4th gr grandparents in Washington Co., PA., when I clicked on his 3rd wife, Rebecca Frederick. In the 1850 census Rebecca Beall (widow and 3rd wife of Colmore Beall my 4th gr grandfather)and found her mother living with her and several of her kids. Sarah Frederick was listed as 83 y.o. so I checked with find a grave and found out she died in Washington Co. but was buried in Lancaster Co. in the Moravian Cemetery in Lititz. Then I found Daniel her husband, and son John Sr. After doing all this I figured I should let you know since you're researching them. Colmore Beall is the son of Mordecai Beall and Elizabeth Beall "The Younger" (she had an older half sister Eliz.) Mordecai and Elizabeth were 2nd cousins. Colmore b 1761-1839, Rebecca b 1787- ?. Probably buried in Old Beall Cemetery, Beallsville, Washington Co., PA. Cemetery is destroyed. Rebecca & Colmore had 10 kids: Sarah, Nancy, Margaret, William, Colmore, Daniel, Jane (married William Talmadge Taylor - buried in Arcadia Cemetery, Arcadia, OH), Eliza, Thomas, and Minerva from 1805 to 1829. Colmore had 19 kids: 2 from 1st wife Mary Shekells, 7 from Jane/Jean Doull Offutt (she is my 4th gr grandmother) and 10 from Rebecca. At the will reading 17 survived. I find it odd that Jane married a Wm Taylor (above) and my 3rd gr grandmother, Casander (Cassandra) married a William Taylor and both are buried in Arcadia Cemetery, Ohio. Colmore is originally from Frederick, Frederick Co., Maryland. The name is actually pronounced like Bell - they added the A to differentiate them from other Bells after they emigrated. The family has been over since the late 1600's. I never was able to segregate the kids per spouse before but I think this is pretty close. I don't have any last names on her daughters except for Jane. My name is Bernie King. I just kind of got pushed into joining find a grave when I asked about some relatives on my Dad's side in southern Ohio and they got dumped into my care! Watch what you ask for I guess. I have added about 3 generations of Rebecca's ancestors along with her brother John Sr. I also have Frederick's but on my Dad's side. They came from Luxembourg about 1835 and settled in Tiffin, Seneca Co., Ohio.

Have made the correction. Thanks for the heads up on that one.
I am from Lydia VB Stover line. There are a lot of VB's out there. And a lot of Joseph, George's, and George Washington VB in my line. Most of mine stayed in the Madison, Delaware, Henry County Indiana area. And some moved out west. Glad you like the pictures.

Robertie Lee
Hello,
I am pretty confident that I have little Robertie Lee in the right place. Waterloo and The Catholic cemetery St. Louis are side by side and it is very difficult to determine where the dividing line between them. I can see how it would be easy for the burials to get mixed up. I had to go back and re-photograph both cemeteries twice because I also had trouble figuring out that it was in fact two separate cemeteries.

Take care
Judy

Hello Willadean,
Sorry it took so long getting back to you. I actually just read this yesterday evening.
According to my Great-Great grandmother's Obit Yes she was married to Henry Oswalt b. 12 Aug 1824 d. 1 July 1917. There are a lot of Henry Oswalt's out there though. The 1900 census records Henry and Mary E. with 2 kids William H. Bixler and Arthur A. Bixler ( My great grandfather ) His daughter was Katherine May Bixler Breden my grandmother. I have Mary's Obit. Yes Eleanor was her sister. I have a Arthur Bixler family picture. I believe that Henry also had a sister named Mary E. Mary was a VERY common name back then.
Well is appears we are family! Welcome, anything I can do for you please let me know. My mother was the child of Katherine May. Her name Lillian Evadean Breden Esterline my name is Katherine Sue Esterline Line. Oh I am sure of this picture as my grandmother had it in her Bible. But they do look very much alike I agree. My grandmother Katherine was the one to put Mary back to bed the night she died, so she was the last to see her alive. Also I do not think she was married to long to Henry because she was living with her son Arthur when she died. Are you with Ancestry.com ? My tree is on there.
Well that's about all I know. Have a great day and Happy New Year.
Your cousin Kathy

He served in Civil War as a Drummer5. Please let me know . his obit only says City Cem. I am working on a veteran project.
