Earl Donner photo request
Hello,

When I photographed Earl's marker, I also took a picture of Mattie J. Donner's headstone. I don't know their relationship but they are next to each other in the cemetery.

Moonaw's
Don't understand. There are already photos of the two grave sites. I have updated the locations, but don't see the need to add additional pixs of the same markers.

Please explain.

RE: Leonard Tauscher
Alan. Sorry, I do not have connections with that family. My connection to the Tauscher family, is that my great-grandmother's sister married a Tauscher, then moved to Chehalis, WA. When they moved to Portland, my great grandmother decided to move from Schwarzthal to Portland. I am writing a book about the settlement of Schwarzthal which included the descendants of all of the original settlers, hence my research into all of the Tauschers. Doug

Lucy's obituary in the Salina Journal confirms the date of death that is on the headstone. What information do you have that disputes this date?

RE: Wilma Morlock Spady
Looks like neither of us are direct descendants of Wilma.
I'd like to retain management of Wilma's memorial, but please let me know if you have any additions or corrections.

RE: Matilda Caroline Bailey Clark
So sorry it has taken me a while to get back to you.
Matilda Caroline Bailey Clark Davidson, # 27667280.
I have a Matilda Bailey born abt 1856 in Henry county, Iowa. Her father, John Francis Bailey died in 1859. Her mother Caroline and the kids show up in the 1860 census on June 16th in Henry Co. Matilda's brothers were raised by others after 1860, and Matilda and her mother Caroline disappear. I believe Caroline died. In the 1860 census in Guilford, Monroe county, Iowa, dated Aug. 6th, has a Matilda Caroline same age as mine, living with Henry and Minerva Bailey.
My question is that she is the same person. Left with Henry and Minerva to be raised.
Do you have a death certificate for Matilda Davidson?
My great great grandmother is Matilda's older sister Sarah.
Thank you, Pat gmasun@q.com

Elizabeth "Eliza" Jane Smart-Mitchell
This Eliza, has the wrong parents listed on her memorial. I believe her parents to be; Andrew "Jackson" Smart and Elizabeth Emma Foreman-Smart. The parents linked to her now, had a daughter "Eliza Jane" that died at age sixteen and never married. Find A Grave memorials for the correct parents are; 98992757 and 98992932. Thank you for your time. Pat

I'm more than happy to transfer Carrie's memorial to you. Someone else had transferred it to me but I believe it should be managed by a family member.

No problem. I must have missed your first request. Some of my find a grave emails go to my spam folder. I had family that married into the Smock family, but not this branch. Happy to reunite him with family.

Bunch Transfer
I normally won't waste my time, commenting when I don't make a transfer. However, unknown memorials really bother me, and you have several linked to the memorial you are requesting a transfer of.

Maybe you have ordered death certificates and you are waiting for them? Maybe you are waiting from the local library for a copy of the obit?
Waiting for the documentation in hand to create the memorial is the definition of "Find A Grave"

Ownership of a memorial is insignificant. Correct information is best.

You're welcome
I live in Grants Pass and have taken many headstone pictures so. I just feel relatives might like to see them. I'm always hoping for a response like your's, as I love to "Pass the Torch". It was my pleasure.
