|FamHist2000||RE: Catherine Becker|
There really is some synchronicity in the universe, because LESS THAN 4 HOURS AGO, my brother was telling me how, just yesterday, he had ran into someone who is Catherine Becker's granddaughter and they had a long talk about how they were related. As a result of this conversation, my Mom pointed out a blanket that Catherine and Bill gave she and my dad for their wedding in 1964.
Thank you for the transfer!

I would love a complete transcription of this stone. It is so covered with moss and other organic material that I can't make out the writing. Thank you for your efforts to get this picture and memorial on the website. Nancy

Today I went to Rose Hills to take a photo of Mary's headstone. After I could not find it, I checked with a Park Service agent and he said his records indicated she does not have a headstone. I put some flowers on her grave and took the picture so you could see where she is resting. Take Care

Today I was able to photograph Ora for you and next to them was Emma C. McKinney so I also took their headstone picture. I will post on FindAGrave for you.

|NancyM||RE: Mary Treadwell Brush|
Hi, I’m most grateful to you for offering the details about the family of Mary Brush. To now have her maiden name is great and added it to her memorial. The 1840 census records show 2 Treadwell households, Allen and Jonathan, both with daughters for the age of Mary.
If you like I can transfer these memorials to you. Please let me know.
I highly doubt we’re related. My project for this past year has been to build and strengthen the McKune cemetery database on the Find A Grave site. This cemetery has a map with names indicated for who purchased which parcel. There are no records for who is buried where.
A great deal of my family is interred at McKune. After I entered all of their details I started looking for more background about their neighbors. Hence it has become a huge project with very good results. At this time last year the database had about 400 entries. From my hard work it now contains over 1,300 with family members linked, etc.

|Vickie Smejkal||Charles McKinney -- Find A Grave|
Thank you ever so much for the mom connection for Charles McKinney.
I take it you are a kin of his? Would you like for me to transfer his memorial site to you?
Also, would you mind sharing what you know about Charles and his family? (Parent names, vitial stats, etc.). I ask because Block 12 at Riverside Cemetery is a special project to me. I've been working on this project for over 6 years now. I have documented all who are buried in this spot, and am attempting to gather what ever information I can on these folks....to bring a little life in to them. Many of these folks were charitable burials in this Block 12 area, many had little to no money. Most of the folks are children and babies 8 years old and younger, mostly 2 months and younger.
The information I seek is something you would not mind my posting in my records and on my web site: www.block12riverside.com I would appreciate anything you are willing to share that others may appreciate and enjoy.
Once again, thank you for the mom connection for Charles.

I used the official sexton's records and added everyone that was listed in them. There are some other cemeteries in the area, perhaps they are buried in one of the them ?

|Hooked On Family||RE: Bristow, Iowa|
ThAnK yOu very much! I have tried very hard to remember that these are other people's or my relatives...even if we didn't know them. I reverently create a memorial for them so they will never be forgotten.
However, I do realize that some people do not want these memorials created or any kind of information put out online, so I will remove anything that is objectionable to someone.
Thanks for your kind words!

|Linda ||Premila Brushe--Butternut Ridge Cemetery|
Premila Brushe is buried in Section 2 Lot 141, but I could not find a headstone/marker for her. I did find a tall monument with William & Fecelia on one side and Angie & Stella (Brushe) Hamilin on another side. The other two sides of the stone are illegible, so that may be where Premila and a Charles Brushe's names would have been inscribed.

I leave about 2 miles from the Cemetery. You turn past the cemetery, and you are in Tunnel City. So we call it Tunnel City Cemetery. The reading on the headstone, which i can see is 74Y's 1M's 1D's. If you click on the picture, you can see a closer look. Hope i helped you. Your friend in Tomah Wisconsin Cindy

You are welcome, I try to get the old headstones. Most of them are so bad. I love doing it, cause of storys like this. If I'm going to a cemetery, I take alot of pictures. It makes it worth going there. I have found alot of relatives that way. If i can find anymore, I'll make sure i get them.
