We have been aware of the findagrave.com web site for some time now, but it really came home to me when we found my husband's Grandfather's grave posted. Since he had died during the Spanish-American War, the same year his son was born, the family knew nothing of him. Then by chance, we were starting to look for family tree information and not only found the Grandfather, but the Great Grandfather and his wife all buried at the same cemetery in Rhode Island. Being Nebraskans and not likely to ever get back east, it was a remarkable find for us. Our thanks to all the volunteers.
