Please remove the obituary you have posted for Mary Alice Blanks Reeves.
It does not agree with the obituary I have attached that was published when her husband W. H. Reeves died.
In the obituary for her husband it refers to her as formerly Miss Mary Alice Blanks. In the obituary you posted her last name is shown as Banks. Her maiden name is clearly shown as Blanks on her gravestone.
Please remove the obituary.

Please delete the obituary you attached to Alfonza Cawthon's memorial page.
The information in the obituary does not agree with the 1900 Census Report which is now pasted in the "bio" section of the memorial page.

So you deleted yours?
OK -- I was going to delete mine, I think your memorial was older.
Thanks for the speedy response!

Thank you so much for adding the obituary for Henry Tidwell. I have several family members buried there at Mt. Carmel. What a treasure to see this tribute!

|Glenda Smith||Nora PULLIAM Childs|
Hey Terry, Glad you have added the obit to the "other" Childs information and found the proper recipient for that. I noticed that obit. as Nora Pulliam was the sister of my grandfather. There are other inconsistencies on that Find a Grave information but not made by you. The spelling of "Pullium" is incorrect on the tombstone, so was copied incorrectly, but correct for the other family members; PULLIAM is correct. Also her place of birth is not correct, but I will take that up with someone else. Thanks for all the great genealogical work you do and graciously put "out there" for others to use. Glenda

|Glenda Smith||Nora Pulliam Childs|
I noticed a newspaper obituary for "Mrs. Doc Childs" added to the Find A Grave information on Nora Pulliam Childs. I think this may be for another person as the place of death, place of residence and date of death do not agree with those of Nora Pulliam Childs.
Nora Pulliam Childs died June 10, 1923, and her place of death on her death certificate is given as Lamar County, Barnesville. Her residence is listed as Monroe County on her death certificate.
In the newspaper obituary for Mrs. Doc Childs the place of death is listed as Butts County and the residence is listed as Butts County. The date of death is listed as July 13, 1923.
I believe these are two different people.

"Thank You" so much for placing the obituary of Sarah Rosser Wall Dickens on the web-site. This enabled our family to learn about our Great-Great Grandparents David Henry Wall & Margaret Rosser Wall for the first time.

|Victor Smith||Obit for Ganes Evans O'Neal|
Thank you for posting the obit for our relative Ganes Evans O'Neal, Memorial# 31951068. This has been a troublesome missing link in my mother-in-law's (Mary Helen O'Neal -as mentioned in the obit) family. Apparently the information provided to the newspaper referred to the deceased as " Grover" in error, which got printed in the obit; even though his name was Ganes, as indicated on his gravemarker. Nevertheless thank you for posting the obit.

Thanks for the obit for Martha Reagan. I do not check my site often, so, it it's been there for a while, please forgive the negligence.

|Benae||Bernie Hubbard Glass|
Thank you for posting the obit for Mr. Glass. If you had not, I would not have caught the death date error on his marker. His marker indicates the date of death as 7/30/1946 but the obit, published 7/4/1946 says he died at 8:30am on June 29. I have made a note on his memorial about the death date discrepancy. Again thank you for taking the time to make the post!

You are certainly welcome Terry. I hope that someday, all of the gentlemen in Old City can be identified properly and permanently. A daunting task for sure, but one worth taking on.

Yes, I am related - would you let me maintain it?
I love the work you are doing, and yes you have seen our names many times, my daughter and I.
If you should come across the name Ann E. Gunn Lofton, born March 21, 1831 and died 1890 in Butts Co., GA. Possible buried at Worthville, please let me know. Would appreciate it.

|Tony||RE: Rawls @ Sylvester|
I also took a picture of a Cathy Rawls but have not had time to add it yet. It will be up in a few days. Her headstone looked like someone used a finger to write her name and death date, looks like Dec 1955 and she had a very small plot like a baby or very young child. Her stone was against the back of Clyde's stone. The other Rawls that I put up were right next to Clyde.

As an FYI, you can order a free gravestone from the government. Hollywood charges a small fee to install it. The cemetery office can handle everything so I am told. John
