Mary Thayer Jackson
It seems there is no such grave. Accirding to the Newton Hist. Soc. Archivist they have no record of such a burial in the East Parish Burial Ground. There is a death recird in the town VR but it does nit include the name "Thayer" and the record cimes from the Hyde Diary in possession of the NEHGS. I suggest this record be deleted unless there is some proof found.

Mary E Blinn Bolan
I am Mary E Bolan's granddaughter. Her daughter who died in 1917 was Mary Kathleen. She also had two sons Thomas Augustine Bolan 1923-1989 and Robert Paul Bolan 1924-1985*.

Carol: The Find-a-Grave lists one for Mary Thayer Jackson. Does the g.s. actually show "Thayer" (assumably her maiden name) or has someone editorially added it ? The town VR only show "wid. Mary Jackson." Do you have any info on her antecedents ?

Glad to help, and a bit amusing...it was quite a fancy way to describe what we Vermonter's would just call a redneck drunken brawl...

Sure you had probably seen this, but in case you haven't...

St. Johnsbury Caledonian. volume, October 03, 1879, Image 3

Libel for Divorce.
Whereas Phebe P. Daniels of Danville, in the
County of Caledonia, has filed in the Clerk's office of said County, her libel for divorce : setting forth
in substance that she was legally married to
Thomas Daniels on the 24th day of February, A.
D. 1874. That from that time to the month of
February, A. D. 1878, she lived and cohabited with
said Thomas, and performed in full all her duties
as a faithful and true wife, but that the said
Thomas has continually treated her with great and
intolerable severity, and has refused to furnish her with any means of support.
And it being made to appear that the said
Thomas resides without this state in parts unknown, so that a citation cannot be served upon
him; it is hereby ordered that notice of the pendency of the foregoing libel be given to the said Thomas by publication of the substance thereof, and of this order, in the St. Johnsbury Caledonian, a newspaper published in said county, three weeks successively, the last of which publications to be at least six weeks prior to the first day of the next term of Caledonia County Court, to be held at St.
Johnsbury on the first Tuesday of December. A.D. 1879.
Dated at St. Johnsbury, in said County, this lst
day of October, A. D. 1879.
E. D. BrOWN, Deputy Clerk

RE: Freddy & Anna Webb memorial photos
Carol, you are very welcome. I tried to find any info on the Lillie Webb that is at the bottom of Anna's stone but could not find anything. Therefore, I did not make a memorial. Do you have anything on her?
BTW, it goes without saying that if you would like any transfers just let me know.

I could not make out the name and need to relocate the stone to throw some water on it to see if it highlights any of the letters or go after a good rain. The last letter kinda looks like a T

RE: Coleman gravesite, Elmwood Cemetery
The office records do not show whether or not a grave has a marker. I had to go into the office and obtain copies of the plot maps and to walk it off based on grave that did have stones to determine their exact location.

RE: Martha Ida Dow Webb memorial # 146304804
Hi Carol,

Transfer complete. I have a handful of other Dow's in Mt Pleasant Cem and St Johnsbury Center Cem., and who knows maybe a few others around the county. If you come across any in your travels and would like a transfer just let me know. My goal is only to reunite families, regardless of where they are on the tree.
BTW, I took note that your Robert Clark Dow has burial unknown. I am sure that you have probably have seen his death record that appears to have place of burial in Amoskeag Cemetery in NH. I don't know if the Find A Grave page for that cemetery has all the burials or not. Maybe he is there with Harry?

Dow/Webb edit in Pope Cem
Hi Carol,

Wanted to thank you for the info and to explain the decline of one of your edits.
You had sent a spouse link for Martha Ida to herself.
I did link her to her parents.
I have also added photos if you would like to take a look. Also, if these are ones you would like a transfer of just let me know. I am not related, just the photographer.
