|Larry Shields||George and Jane Shields|
Amy, Thanks for the photo of their graves. George is my gggrandfather's half brother. He was the first son of John Shields first wife Mary Honecker while my GGGrandfather William R., his last son of the second wife, Elizabeth. They would have been 27 years apart in age.
I would love to know what their local life would have been like, especially while the battle was going on.

|Friedrich-Wilhelm Dustmann||Dustmann Family Grave|
Hello from Germany once more.
About 6 years ago we had a short contact about the Dustmann Family Grave on Evergreen Cemetery. Now I am going to visit relatives in Cleveland, Ohio, and it is planned to go to Gettysburg for two days (October 4th and 5th) and look for the Dustmann graves on Evergreen Cemetery. So I want to ask you if you can give me any information about the location of the Dustmann graves on that cemetery. That would be very useful for me and my distant cousin Karl Dustman.

Hi, I just created memorial # 179217878 for Anna Gertrude Chritzman but don't have a photo of her gravestone. You posted a photo of her gravestone on her husband Christian Chritzman's memorial # 40768736 so I would appreciate it if you could also post her gravestone photo on her new memorial. Thanks in advance, Aloysius

|Laurie A. Plischke||Dr. Elmer O. Plischke and Audrey Plischke|
Hello. Visiting this site and looked up my husband's grandparents, the late Dr. Elmer O. Plischke and Audrey Plischke.
Thank you for taking the time to list them. I read your bio on here and can only imagine such an awesome experience as looking into people in and around Gettysburg.
My husband, Lance Plischke, my daughter Jacqueline Plischke and myself visit their testing place and always have lunch at Hoss' Family restaurant, because that's where Grandpa(Elmer) used to always take the family when we visited before he passed.
My daughter, Jacqueline was only 5 when her Great Grandmother passed but got to know and truly love her Great Grandfather. She was almost 12 when we lost him.
If you come across or have any other history on Elmer and Audrey, please share.

|Karen Hess||Laura A Sheads photo - move to correct memorial|
There are two photos on the memorial for Laura Sheads (#30363641). There are actually two different Laura Sheads. I created a second memorial for the other, #175364452. Can you please delete the Charles W and Laura A Sheads photo from memorial #30363641 and add it to the memorial #175364452. The other photo for Laura Linah Sheads on that memorial is the correct photo - please leave that one there.

When I visited the cemetery I went to the call box and explained my familial connection and they gave me the code to enter. I don't remember the code, but they were quite friendly! Good luck!
