|Law-Miller Roots||Elias McDougal Memorial #59486268|
I do not know if Elias is related to Richard & Amanda McDougal as I am a volunteer and all I did was fulfill a photo request for someone.
I checked with the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidental online site and Richard's obit. can be found at the Hancock Co. Public Library in Findlay, OH, where I live.
Unfortunately due to medial problems I am unable to get that for you.
Please go to the site found here: http://index.rbhayes.org/hayes/index/record_detail.asp?id=1961153
and you can order a copy of the obit.
Hope this helps.

|Mark Johnson||RE: John A Rasmussen|
I believe it is the same John. In 1920 he is married to Edna living in Williams, OR. In 1930 he is in a State Hosp. with TB in OR. In 1940 he is a lodger with no wife with TB on State aid in OR.
The Oregon death records show his wife was Vieana at the time of his death in 1967. Edna probably left him when he got TB. Edna is living in Jacksonville, OR in 1930 with their children Rodney, Roberta & Veronna. No Edna Rasmussen is listed in the Oregon death records.
Researching Edna Fanny King further she was born Feb 4, 1899 in Utah. She remarried to Leonard Charles White & appears with him in the 1940 census along with her daughter Veronna Rasmussen. Edna died Oct 3, 1979 in San Bernardino Co., CA.
Leonard was born Oct 10, 1905 in Missouri & died Sept 29, 1981 in San Bernardino Co., CA.
I hope this info helps you.
Sincerely, Mark Johnson

I corrected Clarissa McDaniel's date of birth to 1861. I don't know if the original person had it wrong and I missed it or I did a typo. Clarissa is my great grandmother.
Martha A McDaniel Watson - my mother did a lot of research (she just passed away 3 weeks ago) and what she could find at the cemetery was that they only had record of who purchased the plot not who was buried there. In the area of the Watson plot there are no indiviual stones just one stone that says "Watson". In Mom's records she has Paris listed as a son with the notation of "had other children but do not know the names". This was all done several years ago and in my recent research I have nothing past the 1860 & 1870 census. I don't remember how hard I worked on her.
How are you related?? Would love to keep in contact. Becky

|Have Paws will travel !||Myrtle Green|
That is what the headstone reads,so the other date could be wrong, research is needed I guess
Myrtle Green's date of birth shows as 1890 with her mom being born in 1881; mom would have been 9 years old when she gave birth. Seems too young -- is this all possible?

|Have Paws will travel !||Martha A. McDaniel Watson|
Really do not know but it looks like it, guess there has to be some research done.
Martha A. McDaniel Watson's date of death is Dec 18, 1880; her daughter Fern was
born in 1895 which is 15 years after Martha died. Could Fern be born from
another marriage of James? Thank you!

Absolutely! Happy to transfer family records to your care. Are you related to Charles Stanley Parker (1909-1930) #107156587 as well. Let me know & I can transfer his record as well. He is buried close to your Great-Grandparents.
Thanks! - Linda

|Randi Bowersox Peterson||Harriet Lilly|
I contacted the cemetery to get info about Harriet Lilly at Oak Grove. I have a picture that I will upload but there is no name marker. The cemetery has very little info about her so any that you have I will be happy to add it to her cemetery record. They have that she died as a result of an accident but no details or next of kin other than her husband.
Thanks so much, Randi

I emailed you proof that Clinton Love is buried in Clinton Ridge Cemetery in Viroqua Vernon Wisconsin a few days ago. I am hoping that this helps clear up the confusion of where Clinton Ridge Cemetery is located. There is not a Clinton Ridge Cemetery in Clinton Rock Wisconsin.

I added a photo of Ralph's grave marker. We tried to get the bush moved the best we could; the only way get a better picture is to cut it. Didn't want to do that.

|Brenda Turner Luckey||RE: Newton Potter|
I actually have no connection to the Potter's at all. I currently live in Florida, but was born and raised in Fayette County, PA. I go there at least once a year, and this past year, most of my time was spent photographing cemeteries. Of course, I was looking for my relatives, but in some cases, I documented a complete cemetery, or just took pictures of headstone's that looked interresting or were very old and posted them to Find A Grave. I've gotten quite a bit of useful information from Find A Grave on my ancestry search and was hoping to return the favor to others.

I have made the changes you requested and have transferred the memorials to you. It was apparent you are closer to them than I, since I have no direct connection.

|GVMP Vols||RE: Josephine Potter @ Grandview|
FYI - Was able to get to the Recorder's Office today and have updated Josephine's page with her dates and parent info.
If this isn't the Josephine you're looking for, she's probably the one in Fresno County.

|GVMP Vols||Josephine Potter @ Grandview|
According to cemetery records, Josephine Eunice Potter is interred in one of the Community Crypts in the lower level of the West Mausoleum. It is not currently accissible, and even if it was, there are no individual niche plates to photograph.
However, I'm not sure this is the Josephine you are looking for. We don't have Richard at Grandview, and the most likely Josephine Eunice (according to the California Death Index) shows dates of 1878-1958, which would make Richard some 24-26 years older that she was. We'll try to confirm these dates at the L.A. Recorder's Office.
There is an interesting record in the vitalsearch-ca.com California Death Index that shows a Josephine, spouse initials R.E., age 69, who died in Fresno County (code 10) on 10/17/1923. You may want to investigate this entry in Fresno.
Feel free to let us know if there's anything else we can do to help!

I located some of your relatives at the West Lawn Cemetery in Canton OH. If there was already a memorial created I just added a picture. And I created a memorial for those that did not have one yet. The following were all buried around the large "Davis" headstone: Thomas B Jackson (the same child that has a gravestone at the Mt Peace Cemetery in Hartville), Frank Evans, Helen Evans, Harry Evans, Cora Davis, Annetta Davis, Zebulon Davis, Lillie Davis, Ray Raff, Gertrude Raff. I also found at the other side of SEction N the following: Edward Raff, George Raff, Belinda Raff, Norman Raff, Virginia Raff. Hope this helps, Jason Walker.

I would be glad to help you all I can. I live near the border of Stark and Portage Counties. I will transfer the two that I created over to you.
I forgot to point out previously that A.W. Jackson Jr headstone says he was born in 1931 but you have listed it as 1930, just wanted to point that out in case you needed to investigate that further, or if that was a typo.
