RE: Jeanette Armstrong
You are very welcome. A nice day for an adventure after the winter months. There were two that I did not get: Minnie Huntington and David Kinney. I did not mark them as "missing" since there is still some snow cover. Especially David; most snow in the newer section. As for Minnie, she might be laying down and covered with snow. Better see if they can be found a bit later.
Happy Easter!

George R. Maloney
Hi, Charles!
I hope you don't mind me asking, but are you related to George Maloney? I have a photo in my possession of George in uniform, the very same you have posted here. George was my step-great grandmother, Ida's son. Can't wait to here form you to make a family connection!

I had recently joined Ancestry and was working on my line when I added my Aunt and Tommy, he had a little leaf and since I am a member of Find a Grave, I went to the site. Aww, how I miss that face, he was my 1st cousin and I wondered what happened after he died. How young he looks and how terribly he is missed, thank you for the post. Did you know him well, do you know where he was scattered?

John Sanders
You left this with a token on the memorial page of John Sanders and I thought it was very interesting. I'd never heard of this.

"COINS LEFT AT A SOLDIERS GRAVE These coins have a meaning when left on the headstones of those who gave their life while serving in America’s military, and these meanings vary depending on the denomination of coin. A coin tells the deceased soldier’s family that someone has visited the grave to pay respect.A penny means that you visited. A nickel that you and the deceased trained at boot camp together, a dime means you served with him, and quarter, means that you were with the solider when he Died."

Thanks for sharing it. Now if I see it I will know what it means.

The funeral card you place on this memorial is on the wrong/or incorrect memorial.

This memorial is for Marine Ronald Francis Liscum.
The card is for an Army veteran.

RE: Re Allan Williams
I went to the cemetery yesterday and spoke to the caretaker. He looked Mr. Williams up on his list and there is no record of him here. I hope you were able to locate him at the other cemetery where you thought he might be. Janis

RE: Re Allan Williams
I will double check on Monday with the manager of the cemetery and let you know for sure but, I think my list is accurate because I obtained it directly from the county office. If he's there, we'll find him!

Allan James Williams
Hi Charles,
I just received notice of your photo request for veteran Allan James Williams in Evergreen Cemetery in Okeechobee. I am currently working that cemetery and have a list of all interments and their locations. I do not have Mr. Williams on my list. Are you sure you have the correct cemetery and if so, do you know the Block and Lot #'s? Janis

Thank you for the information. It is so important that we remember these men & women. I hope you know that I do research them as thoroughly as is possible. Sometimes I don't get everything and appreciate when someone let's me know where I missed something. We are a village and we are taking good care of God's children.

Thanks ever so much
