James O. Brown Sr-52068912 was married to Emmaus A Brown-52068910. Their only son was James O. Brown Jr-52068911. His only son was James Kenneth Brown Sr.-520268913. Stephanie Leigh Brown was Kenny's dauaghter-52068914. I have done this with other family members and the person who created the memorials just goes ahead and approves the edits. I haven't been on find a grave very long, but this confuses me. I usually get an email that the edits were approved. Is there a problem? Beverly Mathis Brown Ingram

I have edited and put together the family of James O Brown Sr. His wife was Emmaus A Brown. Their only son was James O. Brown Jr. I was married to James Kenneth Brown Sr at one time. Stephanie Leigh Brown was my baby.I know you have to approve the edits, but I assure you these are accurate.

Sherry thanks for all the work you have placed in Findagrave. On the above memorial for Henry Wesley Shull, his dob is 09 Sep 1885 instead of 1985.
Thanks for making this correction.

There are two photos on this page of burial markers, but one is from Wlm's father -- Find A Grave Memorial# 167890274 -- and his mother, Sarah Shannon.
I don't know if you want both photos there, but when I saw this I connected Wlm. Jr. and Sr. through "edits."
Thank you for all you do!

|Sharon Clontz Rowe||Antioch Cemetery|
Thank you for all the work you have done on Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Kershaw County. You have taken pictures and added listings for many of my relatives. My great-grandmother Martha Kizzie Davis is my closest ancestor buried there.
When I visited Antioch, I noticed some graves across the driveway. I was wondering if you know who is buried there. Is it a community cemetery for people who lived at Antioch?

How do you document the records when someone has a marker in TWO cemeteries?
My father's cousin Thomas Harvey LeGrand's first wife is buriedat Jackson Creek Church Cemetery and his name is on the marker because the plan was for him to be buried there with her.
He remarried at some point and I quess his plans changed. He is buried in Sawney Creek Baptist Church Cemetery and his 2nd wife is to be buried there with him.
I have copied his obit below for your records.
I attended the service and needless to say his only daughter was not happy with this. Because not Only was he not being buried with the first wife, she was not mentioned in the service or the obituary.
LUGOFF – Funeral service for Thomas Harvey LeGrand, 91, will be held on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Dean Reynolds will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mr. LeGrand passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Lonnie T. LeGrand and Gertrude Medlin MeGrand. He served in the United States Army Air Corp and retired after many years in sales. He was a member of Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church and was a Mason.
Surviving are his wife, Erline M. LeGrand; daughter Gloria Sullivan Pruitt of Columbia; step-son, Bernie Adkins (Corey) of Columbia; stepdaughter, Linda Sue Frye (Phillip) of Blythewood; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

|Susie Bullard||Correction 4 Jackson Creek|
I have another correction that needs to be made please.
Ernest Arthur LeGrand - you show being born Jun 1, 1886. He was actually born on 13 Jan 1897 and was John Edward LeGrand's TWIN. He died 27 Dec 1901 just 2 weeks shy of his 5th birthday.
4 of John Edward LeGrand's children are still living (2 died within the last two years). John Edward LeGrand was my fathers 1st cousin and I have lunch with many of the "cousins" once a month. We will actually be meeting at Jackson Creek Church for lunch in the fellowship hall this coming Thursday Feb 18, 2016.
