Louis & Sannie Baker
They are not family to me that I know of. I took a photo of Sannie's mother's grave and created a memorial for her. I don't remember why, but I searched her children, and found Sannie's and Louis' obits. I have posted them on the memorials. I do not have more than what the obits say. No burials mentioned, so they may have been cremated, don't know. If you would like the memorials transferred, send the request thru the edit function.

RE: Filson Family
On August 14, I had a massive heart attack with renal failure and spent August and September in the hospital. I'm sorry I could not respond to your requests but I had no ability to do that in the hospital (wish I had a laptop). I will try to answer your requests, if I can physically do it, but I am still in recovery. Again, I'm sorry I could not respond. I do not know if I will be able to continue my Findagrave activities, I'm still trying to figure that out.

RE: Charity Hall
Hi Debra,
The location of Charity's resting place comes from the records of the cemetery. That's how I saw she passed away at the old Agnews State Hospital. Do you know if she was a patient there or an employee? If she had been a patient in those days, the hospital wouldn't have supplied a marker and a fact of life is a lot of families couldn't cope with the stigma back then. Here's the positive: Mission City is an old cemetery that in 'the old days' not only didn't keep records, they didn't organize placement of burial sites. So, although there isn't a marker, we were lucky that there was a record showing location! Here's more positive news. Mission City is well maintained with beautiful large old shade trees. It is inviting and the public use it like a park, strolling and jogging. It's not a lonely foreboding area. It's well established with many famous locals buried there. It's been written up in a local book, and a self-guided tour is offered. Your 3rd great Auntie, whatever her circumstances, is resting in a lovely area and in good company. Dottie

Charity Hall
Hi Debra,
The burial site is located in a large Block of land directly across from the cemetery office. Although there is no marker, it is a lovely shaded area. Let me know if your interested in a picture of the area without a marker. Dottie

Hi Debbie,

I also just uploaded recently some more Wettengel photos from near the east entrance of St. Joseph's Cemetery. I thought you might wish t check out those, as well.

Are you a Wettengel relative?

More Wettengels at Riverside Cemetery
Hi Debra,

I just uploaded photos for multiple WETTENGEL memorials which I had to create. They are in Riverside Cemetery in Appleton, WI.

Since you were looking for some in St. Joseph Cem. next door, I thought you might be interested.

Regards,
Julie

Re: Thomas Jasper Tarpley

Thanks for calling this to my attention.
This was my error and no I do not have
any evidence that the 7/3/1828 date is
not correct. His birth certificate on the
original memorial reads 7-3-1828.

I have made the correction on the
Memorial # 106911714.

Thanks again for correcting my error.

Hi Debbie, Thanks for your email. I don't have much on Thomas Tarpley, and what I have is on my ancestry tree. I'm sorry. You are welcome to any info I have or can find. I'll relook around to see if I can find anything new. I am at Mike@cprealty.com

Thanks, Mike Lockett

re: Rober Vander Linden
A check with the cemetery office at St. Joe's became a dead end. They have no record of him in their cemetery. His obituary does not name his burial site. I believe Wichman funeral Home in Appleton handled the arrangements. They might have a record of the cemetery in which he was interred.

RE: Winn
Debra,
Sorry I haven't responded very quickly. We are preparing to move to a new home in a couple of weeks and most of what we've been doing are related to that. I would like to compare notes on the Winn's as you have suggested. Probably tomorrow afternoon or evening would be a good time (Sunday)to call me. My cell phone number is (801)755-2064. We are usually home in the afternoon. I look forward to talking with you.

RE: Thomas Green Winn
Debra,

Yes, Minor and Nancy Wilson Winn are my ggg grandparents. I'm descended through their son, Dennis Wilson Winn, a brother of Thomas Green Winn. I would be happy to exchange what information I have, but other than Minor's parent's names, I don't have anything reliable earlier than that. Seems that every family in the Winn family named at least one son "Minor." Finding the right one is a real challenge. If I don't answer e-mails really quickly, don't worry. We're getting ready to move to another city 300 miles away and may be a little out of touch for 2 or 3 weeks.

RE: Gardner Family
Hello Debra,

My daughter is 2nd and 3rd cousin 3 times removed. Shirt tail cousins as some would call them. Ester Keel, her 1st cousin 4x removed born 1897 and died 1983 married Herbert Gardner. That is how the line started and branches out from there. Are you on Ancestery.com? I found several Florene Gardner listed on Ancestry.com but don't know if they are your grandma. Do you have her date of her birth and death? Also the name of her father and his date of birth and death. I will do a search for you.

Dessie Gardner - Plainview Memorial Park
Just a friendly note to say thank you for the information on Dessie Gardner Smythe. She is in the family tree as Gardner with names as Smythe, Carl, Clayton; didn't know what name to use on her Find A Grave memorial page. She distantly related, my father's 3th cousin 4x removed. I will keep her memorial page on Find A Grave that I added. Most of the Gardner's buried in Plainview Memorial Park; I added to find a grave, are related one way or the other. Again, thank you.
