RE: Guy G, Meade
I had another incident with the same contributors and noted that they have the following written at the end of their bio: PLEASE make requests through the EDIT button in top right corner of memorial and the "Suggest a Correction" option.

I contacted them that way. Hope this helps.

Guy G. Meade
I looked at the frequently answered questions on Find A Grave, and they said to contact them at: with all your information and they can do the correction, and in this case hopefully the merger, for you. Or maybe you could have the memorial transferred to you. Let me know if that works!

James Coston
Matilda Wallace, Peoria Cem.
Evening Ethel,
Well, a little over 2 years later your request is coming to bear fruit.
I was over there today with no backup paper work and happened to spot William from a distance.
Luckily all the way around that Matilda's temp marker was still standing with at least one date intact for verification. Now if no marker is placed and the temp goes missing, the location will forever be documented ...........
Bottom line, they are both buried in their daughters family plot and I will have the fotos posted within' the next couple of days.
Later, James Coston

Can I get a copy of Sam's death cert and where he died,,I will try to find an obit unless you have one,I am trying to locate the 1900 census for him but have yet to find it,,someone sent me a family photo but the ids on it dont add up with the dates I have will be happy to forward and also what looks like to be a copy of a tin type when he was young.
I have that they had 10 children but 2 i have died before 1910 so if I had the 1900 census it might help fit the pcs together,,,are you on facebook by chance?

Leita Reece
Ethel, White's & Glover's are no relation. My grandparents are Lloyd & Leita Reece. Their buried in Savannah City Cemetery, Andrew Co. MO. Lloyd is linked back several generations to Abraham Reece. Our line of Reece's came from Surrey County, North Carolina. Then some moved to Hardin County, Iowa. One of my grandpa's came to MO. instead of going to Iowa with the rest of his family. I hope this is some help in your search & if there is anything else I can do let me know. e-m & my sisters is, Wanda knows more of the information than I do.

Violet Mae Stafford Rogers Bocox
Violet was my grandmother on my moms side of the family. My mother's father was Arthur J Rogers. My mother's name was Leta Mae Rogers. My mother had 2 sisters and a brother.
Leta Mae
Esther Irene
Sadie Lucille
Arthur Henry

Elizabeth Irene Dawson was my great grandmother. Abraham Stafford was my great grandfather.
George Washington Dawson and Ida Belle Reece were my great great grandfather and grandmother.

I am sure I obtained some of my family history from the same as you.(William Smith)
My family history work is not complete but if I can answer any questions you might have I'd be happy to answer.
I have questions about my brother and sisters I have never met. Maybe you know the answers since you worked on family history with Bill Smith?

Hello Ethel, I am sorry that I don't think I have contacted you previously, but I will do some checking re your memorials. I do not think they were buried in the Silver Park Cemetery as I have most of the info for that cemetery. Floyd

Hello Ethel, I will try to obtain more info for you, at least when our snow all melts I can get photos in the Mount Pleasant, Melfort Cemetery.
You may have checked another old Cemetery South East of Melfort, called "Craig". There is an Andrew Dawson, no headstone, b. 1867 d. May 1907.
Will check our Melfort Library but not sure when, to see if they have any relevant obituaries.
Right now you appear to have as much info as I have, it is not clear whether the name is Rigg or Riggs but I suspect Riggs is incorrect.
The Silver Park Cemetery has no records for Dawson or Rigg.
There may be other Cemeteries such as Star City, Community Cemetery and a little known Holiness Movement Cemetery (Unkempt), which is South of Melfort 4 miles (South of Highway 41). I have entered all the info I have re that Cemetery, however unless they lived in the Pleasant Valley District quite early, relatives wouldn't likely have been interred in that Cemetery.
Hope I can be of some assistance.

RE: shafman
you must have the memorial # wrong.

please use the edit button on the memorial, then I'll have her correct number PLUS YOUR # which you didn't provide.
