Thanks for the help on Thurman Davis Rice, Jr. I am still waiting on the edit of Louise S. Rice.
I have obituaries for both and pictures. The obituaries are quite long. I can try to email them to you, if you wish.

I also have the names of the their children and grandchildren to add. My name is Benjamin Rice. My contributor number is 48848191. My email address is Before Thurman, Jr's death, we would talk about family and how important it is. I miss our telephone conversations now that he has passed on.

My name is Benjamin Rice (48848191). I have sent an edit for Thurman Rice, Jr. (64994127). Since then, his son Joel Arlis Rice has sent me his father and mother's obituaries along with pictures to be added to his memorial. I am currently working on all the Rice Family History. Since his son wants this added to the memorials, I ask that you transfer these to me. Thanks for your help.

Thurman Rice (64994127)
My name is Benjamin Rice from Mississippi. I am currently working with all of all members of the Rice Family to find and update their memorials. I have been sent a lot of information to add Thurman and his wife, such as pictures and obituaries. I know this doesn't fit the F.A.G. requirements, but to help other family members connect can you transfer them to me? I have just about found all the Mississippi group.

Capt John R Kerr # 125260054
Hello; I see in your bio that you are also into genealogy.... sooo I'm wondering if this Capt John R Kerr is anyone you happen to have any info regarding.

The reason I'm asking is that I have a relative buried in the same cemetery whose 2nd husband was John R/Jack Kerr whom she married in 1946. I haven't been able to ascertain just which John Kerr she married. Her Find A Grave # 62965317.

Albert Perry

I took a picture of Albert Perry's headstone for your photo request.
Unfortunately the top half of the stone is gone, so there is just a bottom half and veteran flag left.

Commemorative stele in memory of some American soldiers who died during the Normandy landings.

I am French and quite impressed since a very early age by the events surrounding D Day, and by the tremendous testimony they impart, I am the initiator, for the 70th birthday of D-DAY, of a commemorative stele in memory of some American soldiers who died during the Normandy landings. Particularly sensitive to the value of service to others, I have always felt the urge to transmit to the younger generations the memory of those valiant soldiers who, thanks to the selfless sacrifice of their lives, took part in the tremendous movement which lead to the liberation of Europe from Nazi oppression.
As a complement to this commemoration, I have written a book both in French and English which tells the story of some of those men.

Would you please allow me to use the pictures of Jack W Harrison in my book?
My e-mail address is

Best regards.

I don't know. I haven't added or removed any photos from this memorial. I looked and there is a gravestone photo and the cemetery photo. Do you want the memorial transferred to you?
