RE: Carroll Ann Pound
No, as I stated in one of the pictures I posted, no marker was ever set for Carroll and the date of death for her mother was never added to the gravestone.

RE: Edward R. Lowe
hi John,

noticed when you sent me the message back 2014 you said to keep you posted, you didn't want any large businesses taking over the cemetery.

I would like to tell you it stands still, all head stones present. Some trees have fallen in the cemetery, but there is no way I can get to them.

I am unable to chop any trees down, due to the business that has set up shop near there, they are putting a fence around it, and a parking lot near it.

But it's safe for now. Just thought you should know.

Take care.

Nance in Maryland.

Hi John, My mother was Clara Mae Boone Edwards, daughter of Nathan Forrest and Laura Kizer Boone and brother to Sterling. I was born in 1944 so never knew Sterling and have only one picture of him. Would greatly appreciate having a copy of the one you have.

You are very welcome. I also photographed a younger Daniel Cleveland, his wife Fannie and their infant daughter on the same plot, if they are of interest.

Your message didn't link to a particular memorial, but the info for Ridge Park Cemetery came from their web site. So that is probably where the "inscription" came from as I did not photograph the headstone.

John I was aiming to tell Melissa Clayton Key to link Oren Kimery Campbell as a son but I have no real proof except I really believe he might be since he was buried in front of them and the age range would be pretty correct for a son so do you know if he is a son or not if so then send Melissa a edit to link them or I can either but just wanted to make sure first.

RE: Harriet Short
There might have been a headstone at one point. A lot of the old headstones are in pieces. Some are not legible at all. It is unfortunate that in 1931 they did not do a better job recording info on the children's headstones.

I want to say thankyou for sharing your idea about Mary Kincaid Himes and that it made a lot of sence and if you go check fmy page out on a Mary Francis Himes Cates Himes with the death record I have posted that the dates match with what you told me,so I made some changes to what I had her listed as Francis Himes Cates but changed it.
