Please post your own page and I will remove mine. I only posted it as so many don't know about this site and they don't get posted. Sorry for your loss, take care.

Thanks for locating this information. My July date came from cemetery records I found in the Winterset Public Library. Evidently another case of human error---either their error in recording cemetery records or my error in transcribing said records. This error has now been corrected on my Find A Grave entry.

Your welcome. I went ahead and set it up because I didn't know if you would have information.
Thanks and have a nice Christmas.

Hey Phil,

During the WWII years, Peoria had a 100,000 people population, but it was tight knit, and your Aunt had the maiden name of Bamber. There is a Seaman Richard Bamber from Peoria who died in the service of his country on 12-7-1943. He had an older brother, Robert who was with the Army, and the father was named, Dudley.

Thank You,

David C. Henderson

I have added the links to Carson's parent. May I transfer management of Carson's memorial to you?

I don't know any source for the obits you want. But I do know that the following funeral home would know who to contact regarding the Bagdad Cemetery. They should also know what funeral home are near the Bagdad cemetey and possible newspapers to contact.

Carl F. Maddox (1937 - 2002)
Could you tell me if this man was married before to a Lois Surratt? I am doing research on the Surratts and I have a Lois (1937-1996) who was married to a Carl F. Maddox. I was wondering if they are the same person.
