For Amelia Abiah (Meserve) Bailey do you have the whole family picture that Amelia's image came from? She was my 3 great-grandma. Her daughter, Freida was my great-great grandma.

Douglas Robinson
Lt. Jedidiah Brigham
Dear Amy,

Your 6X great grandfather was a good and honorable man. His older sister, Elizabeth Brigham Robinson Rice (1685-1733) was married to my 7X great grandfather, Samuel Robinson (1680-1724). Upon Samuel Robinson's early death, the custody of his son, my 6X great grandfather Samuel Robinson (1707-67), was turned over to Jedidiah in 1725. That 17 year old boy Samuel went on to become a Captain in the French and Indian War, a town selectman and also a deacon of the Separtist Church in Hardwick, MA, and finally a historic figurehead in Vermont's early history. I am confident that your grandfather was a great influence in the life of my grandfather. God rest their souls for they are both in heaven today.
Doug Robinson

RE: Samuel Brigham
Hello Amy, I thought I would check back in with you! Do you know your connection to Asa and Elizabeth Swift Brigham? As far as I can tell, all of their descendants are deceased, not leaving anyone in their direct line. How sad could that be? Thanks....Connie.

Samuel Brigham
Samuel Brigham. I am working on a special state mission called the "Signers of the Texas Declaration of Independence Project". My signer's name is Asa Brigham, 2nd great-grandson of Samuel Brigham (1652-1713) and Elizabeth Howe (1665-1739).

I would like to ask your assistance in my research of your ancestor, Samuel Brigham, and I ask your permission to contact you for further information about your family lineage. If you choose to support this great mission of the state of Texas, I look forward to hearing from you.
