When I saw your photos it looked exactly like the place LKat and I were on Saturday. It puzzled me that we were at the same place and yet we missed that fenced off area.
Went down to the SAPL and copied the page for Woodland Cemetery. There they were, Frank and Martha Moore!
What do you think? Mystery solved?

I do have some more overall shots of the cemetery but cannot see a fenced area to the right of the gate. When I was there, I knew to look for the Applewhite Cem. Didn't know to look for another fenced area. I'll ask LKat to check her photos.
The cert for Josiah Dixon does read San Antonio (typed). Then in handwriting on top is Somerset and above that is Ramye Grove.
The area of the county that Woodland is in was called Thelma and with Cassin nearby.
It's a mystery! Thank you for getting back with me about this. Working together I am sure it will get solved. :)

|Steve Voss||Photo Request for Earle Garrett|
Do you happen to have an obituary for Earle Garrett ?
I've had two different people in the cemetery office on two seperate occasions try to find her in their records without success. No record exists at the Cemetery Office showing her burial at Lawnhaven.
If you would email me, I'll go into detail about the transactions they have found involving lots and spaces near her husband's grave.

Thanks for the link to parents of Ila Richards! Yes, I believe Richards is her married name, but I couldn't find her spouse. No need for a transfer. I just wanted to get all these siblings linked to the parents. I got interested in her father Napoleon Boneparte Howard because he is buried in Wood cemetery.

You are welcome. I also found other Simmons surnames and took pictures of those headstones. They were also added to the Find-A-Grave listing for the Walnut Creek Cemetery. Hope these help you on your genealogy work.

|Kendra Goerdel Lorenz||You're Welcome|
Lesli - I was glad to be able to take photos of your loved ones. I don't know if you noticed, but I left a caption on Lucy's describing what is inscribed. Both her's and Jesse's are deteriorating and difficult to read, but I did my best. I could not tell what the picture carved on Lucy's was, but what I could see was an upside down half circle at the top with what appeared to be an eye with light rays coming out the top in the center, and below appeared to be a building or maybe the intersection of 2 picket fences with very detailed corner posts. I hope this gives you a better idea of what it looked like in case you want to research the designs.
Best of luck to you! - Kendra
