Hello
Hi Shawn,

Are you related to Lawrence Benjamin Trexler, Sr. or Sadie Estelle Brown Trexler?

They are my great-grandparents (my grandfather is Charles Trexler).

Thanks
Shawn Pullum

She was born in Florida, her mother was born in Georgia. If you get a chance read the article about her mother that was printed in the paper about her life. Regard, Diane

Thank you for trying to find his stone. I am assuming that he has no marker. His death certificate states that he is buried there. He committed suicide. Thank you.

Rileys in Papineauville Protestant Cemetery
There are other Rileys in that cemetery.
Unfortunately since responding to your request for photos this morning someone has been hacking both my email and my website so I shan't be making them available. And as per your email note the weather does indeed seem mighty queer.

Sincerely,
Mr. David Oltmann

RE: Willie Waldroup
It's the first mistake I've made all year :-) I was totally incorrect and my friend was in error as well. She didn't know that his middle name was Houston - kept saying it was William Wiley. I had found the other William W grave buried with another lady in Swain County and she said that couldn't have been Wiley as she and her husband had paid for his parents' marker (Lockey and Wiley).

RIELLY in Rookwood
Grave photos are now posted. The error arose due to the renumbering of plots back at the start of the next row. These details vary from one section to the next. Sorry about the error - now, I believe, fully corrected.

RIELLY in Rookwood.
Yes, the Society of Australian Genealogists did record a Monumental Inscription for this plot in their 1980's transcriptions:
"William RIELLY, 5 February 1876, aged 23.
"James RIELLY, 27 March 1888, aged 75."
I will re-photograph the plot and stone on my next visit.

I see the grave in Jeff's photo on the right side of my photo, evidently on the adjoining plot, possibly in the adjoining row. I am reasonably sure that I had the right plot, but will recheck on my next visit, and will have a look at the stone that is there to see who it was for (if it is readable - if it is REILLY's it should be in the S.A.G. transcription which has been licensed to Ancestry.com and to Findmypast.co.uk).

Glad to help! Yes, I already took photos of all the headstones in Pineview Memorial and Pisgah. It takes much longer to upload them all then actually taking them! Woodlawn is the last I have of these large cemeteries.

RE: Emma Houck
The death date is correct. The death certificate I am referring to is actually her daughter's that mentions her (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FPHJ-H42).
There is no image, because I tried to browse the microfilm 2116429 on familysearch, but wasn't successful. You would have to go to a familysearch center and order the microfilm to see the actual certificate.

It's no problem to get the date for you, really. I am in the process of photographing the entire cemetery right now. I also have Paulk's books, he lives in Salem, FL close to me (I live in Steinhatchee about 1/2 mile from Emma's husband John's grave - I have a picture of his stone, too lol)

Ok, I'm just going to go look at the stone better. Florida death record 'estimates' birth at 1835-36, finding an Illinois birth or marriage record proved elusive, trying to figure out her father in Illinois is very difficult as there were a 'ton' of Stanley's in the 1830-1840 census records.

I can actually just go back to Woodlawn Cemetery and clean the stone up a little - I know where it is. But it's about 35 miles away from me, so that will take a bit - I'll get back to you!

I've attached another picture of Emma's Stone around what looks like a 3 to me. Like I said, I'm gonna do some record searching to try and verify.

Hi Mr. Riley, I actually do have another picture of the stone and I'm trying to find it. I'm also doing a little research to try and find where she was born (some kind of documentation) when and if we still have trouble reading the birth year.

Yes, that would be fine. I just wanted to get the info out there and I put info in "transcription" a lot of times, because if the manager of the memorial never answers, at least the info gets written in the memorial after the time-out.

Thanks!
