Brown Cousins
Hi Andrew,

I was recently able to link up my family to Michael and Elizabeth Elder Brown who would be my 4th Great Grandparents. If they are your 5th great grandparents that would make us 5th cousins, once removed. All your entries on the Brown family in Findagrave have been very helpful.

Do you know if we are related to John Brown of abolitionist fame?

Thanks for your help and insight.

RE: James Dearing / Lavina McElroy
Lavina McElroy was my grandfather James Roscoe Dearing's second wife, and therefore my step-grandmother. She was a wonderful person.

I don't know exactly how far apart they were but I was only able to do part of the cemetery. I did the far left side where all the older graves were and they were both over there. I remember Amy and Rensselaer's because they are in my tree also.

Andrew, Thanks for the offer of the D.C. but I caught it on Ancestry when they came out, what a god send those D.C.'s have been. I just might go out to Fair Hill on Sunday, besides all the equestrian tracks they have some of the best trails that you can also bike and hike and ride your horse. I cant imagine why she and Clarence were buried all the way out in Cecil Co. Carrie

RE: Rosankrans duplicates
For Henry and Mary, If you can get all of the family links established and add the picture, I can delete the duplicate memorials. For Henry M and Hiram with two monuments, a common way to handle it is keep both memorials, but mark the non-burial location as a cenotaph.

Many of the cemetery lists I used had extra info about ages, family, places of death, etc. Back then with the spreadsheet submission forms there was no way to add info to the Bio section (and there may still not be...), so I entered it as Notes, or sometimes in the Transcription section.

RE: Re: Curtis Wheeler
I've sent it on to edit to be merged so there shouldn't be a problem. Thanks for confirming it is a duplicate.

RE: Ralph Lewis
You may have that right, I'm not certain though. My grandfather's father's name was Irvin and his mother's was Ella. I've not heard the Guy and we don't really have any ancestry info. Thanks for getting back to me. I was just surprised to see all those names and I knew they weren't right. I'm not upset, but curious!

The limited info that I got was from the Cameron County Genealogy Project. I found them on line. I'm sorry but I don't have any further info to add.

On transcriptions, the other Buskirks were listed so I was assuming there were stones for them as well. Guess not! So the photo requests can be removed then?

Hi Andrew,
I searched Mt. Zion Cemetery three times and there is only one Buskirk stone there. I'm a little dumbfounded as to where the other 5 Buskirk stones are. I did find one near the Freddie Buskirk stone that had the initials E.L.B. Take care, Barb
