|Robert Lee||Gabe Lee clan|
Hi. Just stumbled on this site. Not to be long winded, my father is Robert Lee, son of Hiram Lee, son of Gabe Lee, son of Ole Lee. Not sure that the line is intact however my grandmother had the info and went to my uncle when she died. I reviewed it over the holidays and was able to track to Ole, who had his name changed to Lee at birth. I met a woman in Alaska who said her maiden name was Lee and had a great-great grandfather who had been NELSON but changed to Lee at birth, was very coincidental for sure but I believe she's a direct cousin in the Lee line. Would appreciate any feedback anyone may have to share

Hi, I noticed you left a photo of him. Do you know if he died in the Civil War or survived? I could not find a death record for him. Records say he mustered out in 1865. Thanks for any information.

Interested in your Smith entries. Ura was a sister of my great grandmother, Elizabeth Smith Mabis.
Curious if you also related to the Smith Family.

|Linda Gray||RE: Lillian Beatrice Gilliland Blalock|
We went to Roselawn today and made pictures of the graves of Beatrice, her father Ollie and her brother Mac. None of her children would have a clue who I am but if you talk to any of them you mind share that I am Ollie's great-niece, the granddaughter of his sister Pearl. I am sharing the information with Loretta who was Beatrice's first cousin. Loretta is almost 83 and her mother was Ollie's sister Martha.I am trying my best to get as much family history together as I can but I am afraid my time is running short. Thank you so much for the link to the obituary.

Although I don't remember Beatrice, she was my second cousin and I only heard of her passing today. I am wondering if you are a family friend who might share more information about her or ask one of her children to contact me. Her mother, Mattie Bryant is buried beside my grandmother Pearl Gilliland Melson, who was her father Ollie's sister. My member number is 48144413 if you want to see the other Gilliland memorials. Thank you.

|Julie (Longfield) Davis||Magel Olina|
Sorry Sue it seems I was wrong about the spelling of Olina. You had it right the first time. I have a typed out family tree from Sarah Fee, her daughter, that has the spelling as Olena. Perhaps Sarah was a bad typist. She also like to change names, as she changed her own right before starting school.
It wasn't till my recent trip to the Norway Cemetery that I see the correct spelling is Olina as on her gravestone.
So much fuss for a middle name, sorry for all the trouble.
Thank you so much,
Julie (Longfield) Davis

I Was Wondering How You Came To Phebe Gould Parents Because My Grandma Did Research In 1991 And Have The Papers That Say Her Parents Are Ebenzer Gould And Rhoda Robins. I Know I Have The Right Phebe Gould Because My Grandmas Has On Her Research Her Husband Is Isaac Whitney Children Are Roxanna Whitney, Isaac Whitney Jr, Roda Whitney, Solomon Whitney, Rufus Whitney, David Whitney, Willard Whitney. If You Can Clarify Her Parents I Would Fell Alot Better.
Note: My Aunt Caryl Has A Tree On Ancestory.Com She Also Has The Same Parents As My Grandma Does.

I'm sorry I just realized I had put April for Knute's Birth and death months. I meant to put May for both. My computer mouse has a mind of it's own I guess.
Hope not too much trouble, again very sorry.

Thank you Sue for fulfilling my photo request and updating the gravestone photo of Thelma Bremer. Actually, she is the one who helped my cousin and I get started on our family's genealogy.
