|Rosemary L||George H & Dorothy Mae Tager|
I inherited a few memorials to manage and have been looking at the Tagers. George and Dorothy are presumably buried in Beaumont, Texas, because there is a photo of their joint marker at St Michael's Orthodox Cemetery. But, you also have entries for them at Bonaldo Cemetery in Nacogdoches, only with no photos and only a death date for Dorothy. Looks like she died about six months before he did. Perhaps she is buried in Bonaldo but memorialized on his stone in Beaumont? Can you shed any light on this? It would be nice to consolidate the entries if appropriate, just in the general interest of tidiness.

|Julia A Ryan||Clarissa Jane Sockwell|
Love the photos of Clarissa Jane. Also love the memorial, beautifully done.
Curious, I am having a hard time finding her parents. Are these your pictures? Was there any documentation on the back of the photos?
Seems genealogists have had a hard time tracking her parents to as I have found:
Edwin Buchanan Sockwell
Thomas Wright Sockwell
Also found her birth ranging from 1835 to 1839

I am writing on behalf of Henry Rosenblath of Shreveport. I see that you are the sponsor of the page for Mr. Wolfe (as captioned above). Henry is a direct descendant of Mr. Wolfe and there are facts included that the family did not know before. He would like to verify some of this information and wondered if you could provide the name of the contributor. Your ariticle is fascinating.

When I first started in genealogy I got intouch with a Ken Barnes. Over the years I've lost contact with many of my original contacts. You have to be that Ken.

15574547 - I just tried to clean up the photo you posted of John. I have re-posted it. Please take a look and let me know what you think. If you want me to remove the photo I will be happy to. I just thought it might be nice to try and get rid of some of the imperfections.

I have tried numerous times to get in touch with Mrs. Plante but have had no success.
Someone said she passed away but I have not been able to verify that.

|Pat||RE: Suzanne Valerie Bedell Smallwood|
Genealogy is full of "coincidences" I have found through the years...Suzanne Valerie Bedell Smallwood would be a 5 cousin once removed...which none of that makes a lot of sense to me. But I collect all things Bedell...that is my family. A friend of mine in CA is very generous in finding things for me and sent this to me. Do you know anything about her brother or where he might be located?
Yes, that sounds like a horrible accident. One wonders what God has in mind sometimes. Interesting that you should know her. Pat

|Michelle Woodham||RE: Pvt Lewis Roberts|
I recently had a similar experience. While photographing a nearby cemetery, I came across a group of military markers for northern US Army soldiers - POST Civil War. They all died within a few weeks of each other. I suspected Yellow Fever and did a bit of research, confirming it. Two of the men were actually mentioned in Medical Reports. It's wonderful that you took the time to tell Lewis and the other men's story. They won't be forgotton.

Im sorry I apologize, I did not create the memorial I just added the photo, I also added a memorial for his wife Louisa Whaley and a whole slew of other Greers that were nearby. But I did add the information to the photo caption for Jabez Greer, thank you for that :)

|Bruce McMinn||Edward Thomas Broughton, Jr|
I was uploading photos for several Broughtons in the Oakwood Cemetery in Tyler, Texas and saw where you were credited for uploading a portrait for Edward Thomas Broughton, Jr. This is great, but i did notice that the icon next to his name indicates that the photo was uploaded as a grave photo instead of a person photo. I believe that this is an edit that only you can perform, and it will be very helpful to those browsing the list of internments.
thanks so much!

|Claire||Caroline Bonifay grave|
We drove up to Pollard, Alabama today and fulfilled your photo request for Caroline Bonifay. We will be posting the photos to Find A Grave in a short while.
The grave was partially covered by grass and we cleaned it off enough to get a photo of it. Find A Grave requires a very small file (<350kb) on photos submitted. That size of file may not allow you to enlarge the photo enough to read all the information on the grave slab. The full size files we took are about 2.3mb in size and should allow you the best opportunity to read what is on the marker. If you would like, we will email you the full size photos we took. Assuming you have access to a high speed internet service, you should be able to download all the files in a couple of minutes.
Let us know if you would like the full size photos.
