Fleater is interred at Andrew Chapel Cemetery, not Waelder City Cemetery. Just a heads up for correction.

RE: Henry "Gene" Nixon parents
Well... you know some families can get a little messy and this is one of those families, ha! Uncle Gene had two siblings, my dad & a sister, but they were adopted out by family members. Uncle Gene remained with their mom. Their bio-dad was never in the picture other than name only.
Her name: Rose Mae Brown (second hubby) 131404929 and the bio-dad was: Alonzo Church Nixon 1008360

My Dad was adopted by a great aunt & uncle and their sister by another aunt.

RE::Adding Sibling Name for GeneNixon
Thank you, yes I wouldn't mind taking over the management. My Dad's #131414010, and it shows up on Uncle Gene's Memorial as his spouse, so I am going to delete. There has to be a way to add siblings as the pass away.. if you can help solve this mystery for me I will be greatly grateful, ha
....thanks

RE:Adding Sibling Name
I had seen the Edit tab and went to relationships/spouse, but no where did it show that I could add siblings. So I will try it, as you instructed and see if it goes through.
Thank you

Joshua Adams Cemetery
My husband and I are looking for this cemetery. Seems like that road number is in several different places in Patrick County. Do you happen to know the name of the road or maybe GPS coordinates. Any addition information would be helpful.
Thanks Cindi Bouldin Tilley

Obar Cemetery Gonzales County
Do you know where the Obar Cemetery is between Belmont and Gonzales? It is supposedly on private land, but no confirmation on that yet. It is a family cemetery, probably not many buried there.

Thanks,
Judy

RE: Callaway
I am kin to some of the Callaway family but have not actually researched that side of the family. (still on my list of things to do)

The ones in that Sayer's Cemetery I only took photos of because I was there taking pictures of the Carpenter family there.

Yes. I did. Found a note you sent one time, and thought maybe you would like to have this memorial.

Bruners
Hey Cindy!

Have heard from a BRUNER whose ancestors came from Surry County. He's looking for his GG Grandparents and it appears they may have been buried in a family cemetery off Stanford Church Road.

You have any recollection of where those cemeteries are located? It seems to me they would be on the west side of the road as you go south from Hwy 268.

Hope you are doing well.

Bob

RE: Ben Moore
Thank you so much for Ben's obit! So sad, but that TB affected the entire family, except the mother, I guess, as she lived a long life and came to help my Grandmother and Grandfather Moore when my mom and her sister were born. I don't know how she escaped that disease. It would explain how my mom and aunt always said she was a grumpy, mean old woman! She had buried most of her family and had so many children. My grandfather escaped TB by going to West Texas in the warm dry air, to work in the oil fields. He spent the rest of his life in Central Texas, after that 2 or 3 year stint in the oil fields.
Thanks for everything!!! I'm so grateful!!

I would like to pick up your photo request but Sparkman Hillcrest (SH) does not like to provide burial locations to volunteers, citing privacy issues. Your cooperation is needed in order for requests to be filled. The volunteers will need you to call SH and request the location. Their phone number is 214-363-5401. Once you have the location, please add it to your request. Thanks.

RE: Moore family
Thank you for everything! I anxiously await Ben's obit. I know what happened. His whole family had TB, and most were lost to it. My grandpa escaped to the oil fields of West Texas and took one of his brothers with him to try and help him get over the TB.
Thanks again.

Dora John Moore
Thank you SO much for creating the memorial for my Gr-Aunt, Dora, and putting the wonderful obituary on her memorial. I've heard my grandpa talk about her, and it was lovely to read about what a sweet funeral she had. I've added photos to the memorial, and you will see that she was a very pretty young lady. TB took many of the family, and so many others in that area. Thanks again for this and the pending obit on Ben Moore!
Gratefully yours,

RE: Ben Moore
Cindy, I would be excited to have the article in the Gonzales Inquirer about the death of Ben Moore, Feb. 9, 1916. He was my Grandfather's brother. Thank you so much for offering this. My e-mail is: cindylm44@yahoo.com

Are you related to the Moore's?

Grateful to you!
Lynda
