for Elizabeth "Betty' Keith Payne, perhaps you should edit that to include it is word of mouth. Ancestry.com does not show it, neither does the DNA test. Thanks.

Payne, please tell me how you think she is 1/2 Cherokee Indian? My ancestry.com does not show this. My cousin whose grandmother is Leah Payne Fox, daughter of Alvin Cullum Payne, had the DNA test and it shows no Native American ancestry. Thank-you

Sheryn--The place of birth and death for William is Jackson Co. TN rather than Madison Co. There is a Jackson (city name) in Madison Co., but William was born and died in Jackson Co. Thanks!

|TJ||RE: My great grandmother|
She is buried at Byers cemetery in Jackson County and her Memorial#53812388. If I'm not mistaking it has your name on the created by and record added June 17,2010. Mary Haney was born on November 17 1881 and died on Jan 15, 1962. My grandmother Mary Daniel Maberry Johnson is her daughter. My grandmother Mary Daniel father is Daniel Maberry. Mary died 4 years after I was born so I don't remember her but she is still special in my heart.
Anything you can do to help me find out whom her mother and father was would be gratefully appreciated.

I notice you left a flower on Mary Haney memorial site. She is the mother of my grandmother Mary Daniel (Maberry)Johnson in which the father of my grand mother is Daniel Maberry. I am in search for Mary Haney's father and mother name's for my family tree. I'm hoping you may be able to help me with this.

Thank you so much! The Find a Grave family is amazing, I've learned so much from them. I maintain a family tree on myheritage.com where Bobby and her family are featured. Richard David Gill was my half-brother.

Thank you so very much for linking Nancy's memorial page to her mother's and for linking Eugene, Evert, and Ozella to the memorial page of Nancy (their mother). It gets so complicated! Perhaps this will help others find their loved ones graves. I appreciate it!

Thank you for your work on updating Danile's memorial and for posting it on findagrave.com. I climbed a Tennessee mountain in search of his parents's graves in 1996. He is an important figure in both the Gentry and Mayberry families.
I appreciate your work for findagrave.com

Again, thank you for the updates and links for Paul Mayberry and his family. It is so very difficult to find the Mayberry family members because of the different ways to spell their last name. Your work for findagrave will certainly help. I appreciate it!

Thank you so much for the picture of Angela McCallister Jones that you took. She was a very close childhood friend of our family and we were all very sad at her passing. Her family moved just prior to that happening and we never knew where to find her head stone. Thank you so much for making this possible. Sincerely,
