I have declined your edit, I do not link to unknown burials. His mother is noted in the bio.

You are very welcome. I'm glad I could answer your requests. I pick a cemetery & work on it until I can't any longer. I'll probably go a couple more times.

You're welcome. Enjoying my first year of being active with this. One road trip in SW Missouri gets me hours of computer time!

Summers Family in Greene County, Iowa
Hi Russ!

I'm curious if the # of children you listed for James C. and Corenia A. Summers did not include the two that passed away at a young age? With those you have listed, I count 11 instead of 9. Thanks for the clarification! :) Shannon

RE: William Chapman Photo Request
At least we know he has a headstone Ė not all could afford one. Next time Iím in the area I hope to have more time to have a good look round. I was looking for the war graves and only photographed a few other headstones that caught my eye. I havenít looked at my photos carefully yet, but I donít think I photographed any Chapmans.
Best wishes,
DC

Hi Russ, I'm getting them from the Table Rock Argus, only unfortunately it doesn't go back as far as Olive. :( Was there someone you were wanting? I'm working with the Table Rock Historical Society to add as much as we can for the memorials. There is a web site for it if you're interested. Luella

Russ,

I am sorry to say that the county data base does not include anyone with that last name.

Russ, Thank you so much for sending the information for Olive! I have been trying to get as much information for the memorials in Table Rock as possible. I've added a lot of obituaries of the real old ones, but not papers for that far back, so nice that somebody has this valuable information. Always happy to add or transfer to family! Luella

Your photo request
So sorry I didn't see your request. My daughters and I go there every year to clean, reset etc the Karnes headstones. This year we had a Dowsing Rod and found where the slaves are actually buried. I'll try and add those pictures later once I can sort through them.

If you don't get the pic before I return, I'll surely get it for you.

Thanks again for your work on finding John Wesley Evans and Mary Ann Summers.especially the part about a divorce... We went to his grave in Lyons, Kansas in June, took photos of his grave marker and posted them in Find A Grave. We are still looking for Mary Ann Summers Campbell's grave somewhere in Ross CO. Ohio..

RE: John Summers Find A Grave Memorial# 25082618
Hi
John is the only Summers photo that I took; actually, there were many photos that I took that were unreadable.....Summers may have been among them.

I took photo's of all headstones except for about 30-40 near the church (I received a phone call and had to leave). I plan on going back to take the other photo's and will keep an eye out for the Summers' headstone.

take care
David

Good morning

I don't remember the date I took the photo but it was in the early part of May of this year.
Happy to take it.

RE: Blue Family
No, I don't have pictures or a bio for the Blue family. Franklin T Blue's wife, Martha C Bates Blue, was the daughter of Israel Bates. Israel Bates's sister, Sarah Jane Bates Dunaway, was my 2X great grandmother. Thanks again for all the hard work.

RE: Blue Family
Thanks Russ! I sent a link for the 2nd wife of Franklin Thomas Blue. Are you related? I am related to Bates family from his 2nd wife.

RE: Washington McNutt Find A Grave Memorial# 105434973
I want to thank you for your message, you have given me a much needed boot to get back to my genealogy. I forgot to mention in my first message that Washington's second wife, Martha, did marry again to a guy named Enderlin. Apparently he was not a very nice person, she left him $1 in her will.

RE: Washington McNutt Find A Grave Memorial# 105434973
Hi Russ, I am so sorry I have not responded to your message. I would be more than happy to give you any information I can.

My great grandparents were Christopher and Tone Anderson, immigrants from Norway. They eventually ended up at Cape Horn Washington where they had a homestead. My great grandmother passed away when my grandfather was about 3 years old and his father was unable to take care of such a young child and, being friends with the McNutts, placed him in their care. After Washington McNutt's first wife, Caroline, passed away he married Martha Creighton. They eventually moved from the Cape Horn area to Ashland Oregon and then to Sawtelle, Los Angeles County, California where he died in 1918 and his wife Martha died in Riverside, California in 1933.

Again I am so sorry I had not responded to your message and will look at my records and see if there is any other information that you might want. I do have a tree on ancestry and have some pics posted there but don't remember off hand if there are any with Washington.

I will check back on this site in a few day should you respond. Good luck in your research and let me know if there is any other info you would like.

I know very little actually. Always been a brick wall in the research. William Henry Evans and Jane Ross was her parents. She was one of four girls. One older brother. They were out of Ohio. my email address is roppski@me.com.
