Oak Grove Cemetery
Since Oak Grove has worked so hard to clean up the cemetery and trimming around all stones and flats. This is a perfect time to snap photos before the leaves go crazy. Next Saturday the 22nd is good to try and snap as much as possible. Around 10 am. Not much is photographed there.

Baden-Powell monument, Kensal Green
Sorry to trouble you, but I wonder if you can tell exactly when your photo of the Baden-Powell family monument in Kensal Green was taken? As it is now subsiding to the north-east, it would be interesting to know the date of this photo, as a tracking aid by comparison to a recent snap. Thank you for your time and attention.

April 27th at Calvary
Our annual spring gathering of gravers this year is at Calvary. Working on the hard part of the requests. Section 5 and 16. It requires a lot of walking and good eyes. We start at 9 am and will be way in the back of the cemetery. The more legs and eyes, the more we get done. It usually does not last more than a couple hours.
Would love your help if you can.

RE: Hopkins' family, Sunset Memorial, Affton, Mo
I'm guessing they are Joseph Hopkins parents. They are not Anna's parents. I really don't have information on Joseph Hopkins' relatives.

Anna Coffelt Hopkins
Thank you very much for taking a photo of Anna Hopkins gravestone! I really appreciate it. Since her husband is also listed on the gravestone, I have created a memorial for him as well. I was wondering if you could upload your photos again to his memorial this time.

His memorial is: Joseph Hopkins - #106466084.

Thank you.

RE: Lawson Monroe Bess
I am thinking that his stone should be in the front section North end. I am trying to remember which end of the cemetery I pulled in from. Sorry it took so long to reply. I got buried in e-mails, I am just got to the ones from 4-2-12 so I am only running 2 months behind now. Happy Hunting!!

Raymond Kuchenbuch
I was out at Lakewood Cemetery today, and was unable to find Raymond Kuchenbuch. However, I did find a headstone for Lucile and Harry Kuchenbuch, and another stone with a joint Kuchenbuch/Vandeusen listing on one side (Moritz, Olinda, and Edna) and Burns/Neimeier (Robert, Viola, Eugene)on the other.

If you are interested in any of these, please put in a photo request and let me know that you've done so, then I'll upload them for you.

RE: Pfalzgrafs, New St. Marcus Cemetery
Just to make sure, wanted to clarify...George J. & Nancy C. "Nannie", and their son, George P. are all 3 supposed to be buried in this same crypt? Anyone else? Any mention of the daughter Mary F. Pfalzgraf? Don't have anything on her beyond her name and a birthdate of abt. 1868. Thanks again, Suzan

RE: Random question!
You are welcome for the info.

The slim part of a cemetery just North of the 'NEW' Pickers part of Gatewood Gardens (West of Gravois) is a part of Sts. Peter & Paul (Catholic) Cemetery. (Sts. Peter & Paul is also divided by Gravois.)
Welcome aboard to the photo request deal & GOOD LUCK!

Gatewood Gardens
Just noticed your 'problem report' for the photo request on the Andrew Campbell memorial. I believe that he is buried in a pauper grave in Block II. The 'old picker' blocks are on the East side of Gravois. We have photographed the existing stones in Block II. Since he does not have a memorial with a photo, then I suspect that he has no grave marker. Section and lot maps for Gatewood can be found at:

http://www.karlkleen.0catch.com/Gatewood_Gardens_Maps/index.html

I did not find enough markers in Block II for my friend Becki to compile a map of the lots in Block II.

GOOD LUCK

Hartzke
Yes, I am sorry I didn't ask before, but I would really appreciate the photos of the grave sites for the Hartzkes. There should be three in addition to our missing Johannes (John) - Gustav, Edward, and their mother, Marie. According to records Gustav & Edward were buried in Section BR, Lot 72. Both boys died within a few days of each other in 1905. Marie died in 1916 and is buried in Section SG, Lot 513.

Many thanks again, Leiza

Hartzke
Many thanks for looking for Johannes Hartzke. I believe he probably had changed the name to John. My mother, his grand-daughter, always called him John. The other Hartzke's buried in the same area were relatives. I believe you must be correct, the stones are probably down, which is a shame, but.....

I thank you again for taking the time to look for me, however.

Barbara and Harold Harris
Thanks for looking for their graves and I understand about not being about to find them. Since Harold was an accused murderer I guess that the family or people who buried him may have left his grave unmarked and probably the same for Barbara.

Thanks again for trying...I do appreciate your efforts.
