|C. Granberry||RE:43974858 Sarah Granberry Mullins|
Jan and Larry,
Sarah "Sallie" Granberry Mullins was born in Georgia. She came with her parents, Seth Franklin and Jane Bledsoe Granberry from Warren County, Georgia. Her parents were charter members of Providence Baptist Church in what is now Forrest County, MS. Family History: Hiram Bronson Granberry written by Tom Holder mentions her by name. (The town of Granbury Texas choose to spell Hiram's name as "Granbury", but his name is Granberry. The article is on web and interesting reading. Anyway, your Great Great Grandmother has quite an interesting history.
Have a good night.

Thanks for the sponsoring our fourth great grandfather. I contacted Find A Grave and they have his memorial back up on line so researchers can see his memorial.
His daughter Nancy B. Haynes is my third great grandmother.
Is was hot the day I took the marker picture.

Thank you Larry - that would be great!
No family living there. My grandmother was a Lanning and her grandfather was James Riley Lanning. I have never visited the graves of our many ancestors in that area and wanted to do so. I did know about the article in the Town Crier - that's how I learned of the vandalism. I will look up the Genealogical Society Library too - Thank you for that suggestion.

Thank you for that update. It made my day. I did not see the article until Monday. Is another fundraiser going on to help repair the damage to the church? I am just wondering if maybe ancestors could pay for the cost of a bench or something in memory of their loved ones buried there. Also, help with the expense of painting. I am coming to visit for the first time on Oct. 16 - I am looking forward to it. I was heartsick to read that article yesterday.

Are you aware that Cane Creek Cemetery was vandalized? I am not close enough to travel there to see about damage to any stones but the Fairview Town Crier ran an article about it the first of Sept.

What a kind gesture, Jan. I would be more than delighted to manage these memorials if you do transfer them to me. We need to begin corresponding with one another since we are obviously related. In the meantime, I will be gleaning information from Find A Grave that I am sure you are responsible for. Thanks for the contact. Mike

Hello :) I was out at the cemetery and took pictures of the Frady family. I must have missed Salina M Frady's marker when I was out there, I may have simply overlooked it.
I enjoyed reading your memorials, you've done a great job with them. ~ Kathy
