William Connor
Hi,
I got the pics per your request for William Connor's grave in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery here in Portland, OR.
Sorry to say he does not have any gravestone. I put a little flag where his gravestone would be if he had one.
I put captions on each of the pictures if you care to click on those to see that.

Glad they turned out well. I noticed there was no memorial for William Donald Keck. Would you want to make one and let me know and I'll post the photos to it. Thanks

Thanks for letting me know. If you come up with different info, I would be glad to edit Harriet's info. Are you related to Harriet? I can transfer her to you if you would rather follow up and maintain the memorial.

Thank you for contacting me, Carol. I will add the plot info for Harriet and her son Charles Knickerbocker/Knickerbacker. I think both death records show burial at Mechanicsville, but I don't think either one names the cemetery. However, if you go to iowawpagraves.org and search for them, you will find that both are listed at Rose Hill Cemetery, Pioneer Twp, Cedar Co IA.

Please let me know if you still believe I have placed them at the wrong cemetery and I will follow up. Also, let me know if you have other questions.

Sandra
Mary Granger Photo Request
Carol,
As Darla Bell noted, this grave is unmarked. The section where it should be is easy to locate (section G 49) and I have photographed it. It is basically a large empty-of-markers area. It could be that the marker became damaged and wore away. In any case, I have photographed the whole of section G and the adjoining section F, and her marker is not to be found. Just wanted to explain because I didn't want you to wonder why the photo upload appears to be an empty patch of grass.

Carol,
You are very welcome. Just an FYI, I put in edits for Armel's birth and death dates and locations. Also put in an edit for his parents. They are buried not to far from him in the same section.

I hoped that the marriage date would help you. That's why I got it in both pictures. Some days are luckier than others.

Parents: Egbert Benson Briscoe and Mary Frances Paschal
Children: Pierce Wesley Briscoe
Estelle Briscoe
Roy Dooly Briscoe
Ruth Virginia Briscoe
Rubye Briscoe

I hope this helps!

Take care,

The older James and Sarah are in the same lot as a younger James and Sarah McFadden. I posted memorials for them. If they are your family I can transfer them to you. Also Elizabeth Donaldson McCoy who was relict of John McFaddin (spelling seems to change) is in the same lot. I posted a pic of her. She is under McCoy in the Lewisburg Cemetery list on Find A Grave.
