Are you kin to the Seay or Goodall family? I've been to the Herd Cemetery in Calico Rock,Arkansas but I didn't know about the Cowan cemetery .

I'm glad you are taking care of my gg grandparents. I just lost my Dad which was Ervin great grandson in May 2015 and my Grandma Seay who passed away in June 2015 and she lived to be 100.

RE: Thomas Avants
Hi Reeves - you're most welcome.

It's a lovely plot - peaceful and serene. Let me know if you need any others from Pawnee, OK.

info on this site. It first list a John R. Long
and Elizabeth as being the parents of William
Edward 'Eddie' Long. William is the father of
William Charles 'Bill' Long. Hope this help's you some. I have dates on each of them also if
you need them. I don't believe we are from the
same Long family?

Wow, It's a small world. I am Uncle Jim's niece. My dad(Larry or Lawrence) was Geneva's brother. I miss Aunt Neve terribly. Everyone always said I resemble her. It's very nice to meet you.

My sister-n-law and I noticed you had added pictures of my grandmother and grandmother's grave. We didn't recognize your name and was wondering how you knew them? They were Lawrence and Cindy Montgomery.

It was a pleasant surprise seeing pictures of their gave. Thank you.

Glad I could be of help to you, just sorry it took me so long, but our Oklahoma heat wave has been above 100 degrees, and it was hard to find a cool time of day when the light was good.

After I uploaded the picture, I looked at his Memorial, to find that only his birth and death dates corresponded with you memorial info. I apologize if this is not the correct tom Holt, since the wife's name is not the same as what you have. Perhaps Daisy is a second spouse.

RE: Rachel Brooks
The Headstone for Rachel, & Franklin & Robert were of the same make and grouped side by side. "Son Robert Lee Brooks b. May 18, 1943". He may still be living, no death date and he is not listed on the registry at the cemetery with a plot number. I'll wait on making a burial. I am glad to send you this picture.

RE: Rachel Brooks

William Thomas "Tom" Holt
I did find him in the West Lawn Cemetery Index at the library, after I was given a book to look at that answered our question regarding the correct cemetery. This book listed all of the Okmulgee County, Oklahoma Cemeteries. It states that altern - HENRYETTA CEMETERY at T11N-R12E-Sec11SW, Latitude 352627N - Longitude 0960045W, aka West Lawn Cemetery;Henryetta Westlawn Cemetery. Then it list altern - HENRYETTA WEST LAWN CEMETERY T11N-R12E-Sec11SW Lat: 352627N Long.: 0960045W aka West Lawn Cemetery; aka Henryetta Cemetery.

I found him under Tom Holt.
William "Tom" Holt age 79
Born: 12 Sept 1874- Died 23 Mar 1954.
The grave is located in Section F.
Due to the extreme heat conditions by the time I left the library, I did not get to walk out that section to find his grave. However, I will go back this weekas I only live 3 miles from the cemetery.
Hope this helps,
