RE: Job Taylor Cemetery
Thanks, Keith. It was a shot in the dark to be sure. I do know Jack, but he is not local to the area either. We shall see.

I certainly appreciate your prompt reply. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Find-a-Grave folks.

Cheers, Joy

Job Taylor Cemetery
Keith,
I just noticed you photographed the grave monument for Sarah H. Brown Taylor located in the Job Taylor Cemetery in Smarr, GA.

I would dearly love to know specifically where this cemetery is located. The book "Monroe County, GA: A History" somewhat describes where it is but the references are foreign to me.

I have a request in for Benjamin Franklin Taylor's photo-- others at Job Taylor were already requested. Supposedly, there is a monument to Eden Taylor there, although it is said he is buried elsewhere. There are many grave sites of importance to me for recording.

In any case, I cannot even send a relative to help with photos because I have no knowledge on how to direct them there. Any help you can provide would be most welcome.

Thanks, Joy

I updated Christian Unger's bio per the information in your edit request. Let me know if you want any other changes made.

I notice you created a memorial for Dorothy using the last name of RAHL. Did Christian and Dorothy divorce?

J R Hinton
Wiley B Hinton 1829-1864
The Wiley B Hinton that you referenced as being the son of Bradford and Patience Hinton is a cousin of the Wiley B Hinton-Memorial#123164438. His father is Lovett Hinton, brother of Bradford. They both had sons named Wiley Bradford Hinton and both were born in 1829. Some of Lovett's family and widow resided in Randolph Co., AL. Bradford lived in Henry and Campbell counties and migrated to Arkansas in 1856. His Wiley B died in Patmos, AR about 1870.There are still Hinton's being named Wiley Bradford, as I personally know two of them. Hope this clears this up for you.

Paul and Louise Smith
Hello Keith,
Paul and Louise share a double marker in Section Y. I added some marker photos to their memorials. The next photo in my file after their markers is one for Blanche Smith Carey. It is a single marker with the dates Juky 2, 1911- March 30, 1999. I added a marker photo to this memorial also.

RE: Corrections

Lona Agnes Thompson was sister to Jesse N Thompson who is my husband Jessie C Thompson's father which makes Jessie C, Cora Bell, and Billy 1st cousins.

My information is that Cora Bell married a Ray Chasteen in Benton, MO and that is all I have found.
Any information that you would care to share on any of her family would be appreciated - especially any pictures. The only picture I have of Lona - she is about 8-9 yrs old. I have a picture of Billy in his military uniform.

My personal email address is jaysandi@sbcglobal.net if you wish to contact me.

Thanks Sandi

Keith Thank you for letting know of the mistake on Jesse Narvle Thompson's memorial. I appreciate it.

Concerning Cora L Thompson. How do you know that her middle name was Lona? I can not find anything that gives it.

Are you related to this Thompon family?

RE: Mamie Hudgins photo
You are welcome for the photo. I don't recall any other markers in the same plot as Mrs. Hudgins. She is in BE-031. I did take photos of McGinnis (BE-033), Lindsey (BE-032), and Dunham (BE-029) which are nearby. There is an Emma W. Fricks listed in BB-020. Could that be her mother? Since I didn't create the memorial, I can't include her maiden name. Send her maiden name and her date of birth to the one that created the memorial and that additional info might help others looking for her.

RE: Everidges in Stilesboro Cemetery
That is odd indeed. They aren't listed in the county website's transcriptions either. I'm going to look into this more. I am adding the Everidges that I did find there.
