|Joanne Graham Wazny||RE: PETERS|
Thank you Julie. Thank you for the transfer offer but is is not necessary as I am not closely related and really do not have anything to add to his memorial. Love the collaboration!

Many people put obituaries on as pictures
Only sent you the info so if you were so inclined you could enhance the memorial.

Thank you for the response back; even though you are not connected, people like you are much appreciated for creating pages and adding notes. Not all of us are able to travel too much to see these gravestones in person for our families.
I would be happy to take over management of the Klaesi's; my member # is 48748746. Will be much easier that way too to do any updates to info or links to other members. Thank you.

I was just curious as to your connection to a couple of Klaesi memorial pages; Margaret #51069698 and "unknown" #51069697. You'd specifically mentioned a note that you believe the unknown to be Fred Klaesi, which fits the theory I am working off of in my current search for Fred and his siblings. Are you a relative or are you one of the many helpful people and have no connection to Fred? I have been researching his clan because I believe them to be cousins to my own family but I am still searching for the common ancestors. The reason I ask if you are a relative is I am trying to find out who Fred's great-grandparents are.

Thank you for updating Anna's memorial. I appreciate it. She may or may not be an ancestor of mine; haven't figured it out yet.

Hello Julie, I would like to thank you for all your work and everything to have done to help families out by taking all the photo of the cemeteries. I live in California which is far from Iowa and makes Find a Grave very helpful for me. I was wondering if you would be willing to transfer my 2nd cousins memorial over to me. Her name is Clysta M Caldwell Michels # 51069775. Her Brothers name is Rollin Otis Caldwell, not sure if you have him as well.

Again Thank you.

Oh I would love that! I took an interest in their story and wanted to honor their memories. You're right about the bio, I'll go and reword the ones that I've got now. Thank you! It just breaks my heart! I was glad to see that the grandparents made sure to get them buried together and with family.

I went and got better pictures for that gravestone for Jack Leo Baumer that I whined and complained about. :-]
The pictures would have looked better if it weren't raining when I took the pictures.
Jack's Find A Grave #= 156998083
I found out that his wife is indeed buried there also. They just never added her death year.

The efforts you have put forth for me went above and beyond all expectations. Please don't hesitate to post your photos. If someone else has photos, they can add theirs too, There are 5 spots per memorial. They can have one of the four left. If you want to delete theirs after they get around to posting theirs, that's your call. They may NEVER post theirs. But until they do, and they are found to be 'better', others appreciate all the work you have done!

The first message I sent was before I saw all the ton of edits you sent and what you are doing.
I am sure you know how different people. One person wants to do things one way and another person does not like to do things that way, etc, etc.
From the jist of your message it sounds like you are new to Lincoln Memorial. I have been working on that cemetery for years. I did not just start working on it yesterday in a manner of speaking.
I have too much to say in this format so will send an email a little later when I get more awake.
I will say though that I was awfully disappointed to find out somebody is going along behind me putting poor quality pictures on my pages I made. If I wanted poor quality pictures on my pages I could have already done that myself.
My theory on this is to get a fair amount of info on a page for a person so someone related can find them and they might like more added to the page. And, they can request a picture of the grave if they want one. THEN, I will go back out there and get them a good picture. I go bananas cleaning up a gravestone and try to get people the best picture I can get for them, not just one to hurry up and get one because there HAS to be a picture of the grave on their page no matter what it looks like, ok?! How weird does that make me?!

|Nathan Haines||RE: Marian J Baumer|
Good question. You are right, she is not buried in Willamette National. So she did remarry then.
I can only ask Lincoln Memorial for a very few look up requests for Find A Grave per week. Tomorrow is the day I can make my few more requests. I don't have too many requests this week to look for so I will add Marian to my few requests tomorrow. Then we will find out if she is really there or not. Then we will know for sure where she isn't if she is not there and know she has to be looked for elsewhere.
It takes them a few days usually to look for my requests. They just look in their records when they are not too busy. It is a very large cemetery and things ebb and flow around there like so many businesses do.
I will get back to you when I hear anything.
One good way to find answers is to track down a living descendant. Often times they know things.

Hi, Julie --
I'm not related to the Linns or the Watsons, although there have been some intermarriages between some of the folks in my family tree and the Linn family of Wasco County, Oregon. I've just done some community genealogy for the folks buried in Kelly Cemetery since that's where my grandparents, great-grandparents, and great-great-grandparents are buried.

Thank you so much for your reply!
I did read the FAQs, though after reading it, I still could not find the edit (at first) that you are talking about.
However, you were very clear so I should be able to find it. It is simply that I have to get used to the way this website is organized.
I would never expect to find magical missing people from my family, but I can see how people would try to use this site that way.
Rose City Cemetery is a relaxing place for me, it is typically a nice walk, I have been going there and taking pictures of my relatives graves for years.
I do not think you are mean at all, what you are saying makes total sense.
