He was not married to Ms Dixon. He was married to Beverly Ann Cress in 1954 and was still married to her when he was killed in a car accident in Hanover PA in 1956. I will gladly provide a marriage and death certificate as well as the newspaper articles at the time of his passing.

RE: regarding Mr. John Henry Yelton
thank you, I look forward to seeing your photography and yes, the family lost them young. Irene was devastated but kept on. She outlived 3 of her children but the sorrow was never far away. She was very tough, had to be. One must be in good shape to climb the hill! The views are wonderful where they all are buried, both cemeteries. In the still of the day if one is quiet enough,it's not hard to feel the spirit of God.

RE: regarding Hattie Greene Yelton
thanks for responding. My grandfather needs to be added to the list of children that she had. Its nothing short of a miracle that the pictures even exist at all but this will open more doors. It disturbs me that my branch isnt included. My grandfather loved his mother very much but after her death was very angry when his father John married right away. He was never close to the new wife or their children. The Yelton family has tried very hard to hide things but the time has come to set the record straight. I can prove everything I am claiming. I appreciate anything that's done in their memory. But add my grandfather,he would want this done. Thanks.
