|Van Landry||Zulma Patureau|
I left some edits for links on your grandmother's memorial. I've been working at connecting some of the Patureau family members. Your description of your grandmother is almost identical to my own grandmother who was born a Patureau. She was the sweetest woman and she taught us to play many different card games.
Your grandmother and mine were first cousins, so that makes us third cousins.

Hello. I have already put in a memorial for Richerson # 42329314 and connected him to his wife and mother. I have a picture of him as a young man attached. There are more pictures of him on the ancestry.com site. We could use a better picturee of his grave marker! Sincerely Jon and Jan (Great granddaughter)

Suzi; Must answer, since I don't want you to think I don't know Louisiana. I live here and know Concordia is in Louisiana, but so are some of the relatives of this family. I also know Union church is in Mississippi, which is where the family migrated from to Louisiana. I have extensively researched the family.

Suzi; You are so right about the shape of these headstones. They all seem to be in sad shape. I do know that a lot of the surviving members of the families I'm interested in live in south Louisiana. I don't know about the ones in Concordia Parish. I can only guess they don't care. Such a pity. Thanks again.

Suzi, I still have more of your request to take care of. Still have to reduce the size of the photos. Did 4 real quick in order to claim all I did locate today. Last time I waited to claim until I had the pictures ready and it took a few days, somenone beat me to claiming them. My wife is a Vaughan, from the late 1700's on they were in VA and WV (Greenbrier and Pocahontas Counties). They came out of Southside Virginia
