RE: John H McCleave edits
Hi Helen,

I am not related. My neighbor and good friend is Earl McCleave's wife. Earl was the oldest of Hewet's children. Earl was 97 when he died in 2015 and his wife will be 97 this summer. She is very, very active and does a lot on the computer but not genealogy so I have been helping her with that. I have been trying to tie together Earl's family on FindAGrave and getting John connected was the last link in Hewett & Anna's family. There is one sibling still living.

Thanks for your help.

Mike

Thanks Helen. That finishes it.

Also I ran across some info on FindAGrave about using the new edits process if you are interested.

Thanks again,
Mike

Helen,
I have appreciated your help. I would also appreciate it if you would let me know when you get John's Dad (Hewet) linked to John's memorial.
Thanks,
Mike

Helen,

Great, thanks.

Now can you please link John McCleave's father to John's memorial?
Hewet McCleave (father) #166402466
John H McCleave #131398515

I think that will close the loop.
Thanks so much.
Mike

Hi Helen,

Thanks for adding John's parents to his memorial. Sorry all of that became such a hassle for you. Since I already have a memorial for Hewet G. McCleave you can remove the one you created.

Thanks again.
Mike

Helen,
Whatever works best for you. If you want to transfer that is fine but otherwise here are the memorial numbers for his parents that you can add.
Hewet McCleave 166402466
Anastasia "Anna" McCleave 166402480
John H. McCleave is 131398515
Thanks,
Mike

Helen,
You are correct that he is buried at Mt Olivet. I have updated his memorial with that info and other you provided.
If you will accept the edits I posted then we will be in good shape.
Thanks,
Mike

RE: John H McCleave edits
Hi Helen,
Sorry that you went to unnecessary work. Both of his parents are buried at Hopkins.

All you need to do is go YOUR contributor page and click on the "Edits" tab just below your name. In the Display window it will say "Edits that I need to review". Just look for the one for John McCleave, select Accept at the right side and click on "Process Selected Edits" at the bottom. That will then add his parents to his memorial.
You will then need to delete the memorial you created at Mt Olivet.

Once again sorry for the trouble but the Edit function is pretty new and you must not have used it before. It makes it much easier to submit and approve changes. The BIG problem is that FindAGrave doesn't notify you when someone sends an edit for one of your memorials. You just have to look at your Contributor page every once in a while to see if any are there. Hopefully they will get that fixed.

Thanks,
Mike

John H McCleave edits
Hi,
Just a reminder that I submitted 2 edits for John H McCleave (Find A Grave #131398515)about 3 weeks ago. I would appreciate it if you would accept these edits.
I wish Find A Grave would provide notification of the edit requests instead of us having to go in and look for them.
Thanks,
Mike Reiter

RE: Timothy Gish
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I do not have any information, that I know of on the other two daughters. There are 3 more Gish's buried in the Harper Cemetery that are not yet on Find A Grave. They are Anna C. Gish died 9 Feb 1927 (no birth date in the records), Lora Ola Gish died 28 Feb 1963 (no birth date in the records) and Thomas Mathis Gish died 27 Sep 1937 (no birth date in the records. These three and Bula Dantallo Gish #14215032 are all buried in lot #0134. Anna (1875-1968), Frank (1880-1951, Grant (1868-1921), Lena Caroline (1880-1956), Martha (1836-1906), Mildred (1904-1988 and Timothy (1831-1914) are all buried in lot #0136. I also have a copy of Frank Clifton Gish's obituary if you would like that. I hope this helps you in your research.

What are their names and birth dates? The Cemetery records do have a few Gish's that are not on Find A Grave yet.

Bell Gish-Sunbridge Cemetery
To my knowledge, all markers in this cemetery have been photographed and are on find a grave.

Basically a potters field, there are only bronze markers to mark blocks and lots, although I have found references that whole families requested to be buried here.

Bell died before the caretakers records were destroyed in a fire, So the lot and block info is lost. All known individuals with lot and block info are on find-a-grave.

The cemetery is located north of Krug Park in St Joseph, and can be reached by taking Maxwell Rd west from St Joseph Ave.

RE: Tuck family memorials
Hi Cousin!
I have Mary Ann Elizabeth and William Patrick Riley in my tree, but haven't gone to the next generation as yet. Mary Ann is my 2nd cousin, 3x removed - so I guess we are 5th cousins, once removed or 6th cousins. I do get a bit confused when it gets out that far!
Do you know if the Margaret Cath Riley who married Mary Ann's brother John Henry Tuck in 1869 and died about 1871 is any relation to your William Patrick Riley? I haven't found anything about Margaret except the MO marriage records.
My own family tree is full of siblings in one family marrying siblings in a second family so I'm wondering if this is a similar case.
Beverly

Thanks so much for all the memorials you have created or are maintaining for the Tuck family. I really appreciate all the information, photos, and family connections.
My connection is thru Nancy Nelson Tuck, wife of Thomas Tuck Sr and sister of my 3rd great-grandfather, Jarrett Nelson.

Hi Helen, I just saw the page. Thank you so much. I have heard your name over they years of the fun you and Mom had. I think I did know that you were in her wedding. My oldest brother Vince remembers more from then. We are going through their house now and I will find a picture to post on the sight and let you know when it is posted. My middle daughter is getting married in Sept and is going to use part of Mom's wedding dress in her dress. I think that would have made Mom happy. You might like to know as well that my girls (3) loving called her "Hey You". She loved it and was a fun, Mom and "Hey You"!

Again, thanks so much,

Windsor Family Cemetery
Hi Helen, I noticed that you added some picture to the Memorial for Isaac Windsor, buried in the family cemetery in Yadkin County, NC. He is one of my 5X great grandfathers. (Find A Grave Memorial# 20699206)

My husband and I are going to be in NC next month, and hope to find this cemetery. I have a rough idea from some map research, but I don't know exactly where on the road going west from Windsor's Crossroads the cemetery is located. I gather that it is behind a farm somewhere. Can you enlighten me?

Thanks,

Carol Wallace

Searching for ancestor killed May 24, 1864 at Resaca, Georgia. Found your name as historian on a memorial for Pvt. William Journey from the same Company C of 80th Indiana Infantry. Have searched same national cemetery for him and wondering if you might know of another place to search for him.
Appreciate any direction you can give. Last name is actually spelled Godwin, but have found other family members with spelling Godin and/or Goden.

Henry Garner Windsor - # 38261819

You left a "flower" for Henry Windsor on the memorial & added data.

I appreciate the flower & data, but would you please remove the data as it should have been sent to me to add in the bio section. It doesn't belong in the flower sentiment area.

I am always glad to add additional data to my memorials, so please feel free to send data to me in the future.

Thank you -- and I hope you understand.
