CORRECTION
Corp Baker's Co 44 US INF - Civil War - ERROR

In the spring of 2017 the Veterans Administration corrected the information on this tombstone. The old stone has been removed and a new stone has been set stating "Vincent C. Graves, Corp Baker's Co. 44 US INF - War of 1812"

An additional stone rests below the government stone stating: "Known as: Vincent Segraves, Seagraves, the War of 1812" located on the right of the engraving is an American flag and on the right, a British flag; both are appropriate to the year 1812.

Hi Brenda, I see that you created the memorial for John Fernimen - are you a descendent? I am his great granddaughter - his only child from his first wife was my grandfather - I have never found or seen a picture of him, hoping if you are a descendent in some way, you might have a photo to share. Thanks!

Hi Brenda I'm wondering if Susie Higgs is part of your family tree. I've been Researching the Higgs family as they married into my King family twice as far as I've found so far. If you have any info on her I'd be grateful. I was told she divorced Sanford Higgs and died in 1942 but her tombstone tells a different story. Thanks, Marlene Lee

Eva Williams Hensley
Hi, I was wondering if you had anymore information on this person or could direct me to someone who would. I believe this person to be someone who married my grandfather's brother in 1921 and may have had children together that I am searching for.
Thanks
BJ Nearns

RE: Matilda Gage
Hi Brenda,
Thank you for the quick response! I did not even notice Matilda's memorial had an associated duplicate. I looked at the contributor' profile and unfortunately all 5 of the memorials she created are duplicates. 4 were originally created by you and the 5th one is a duplicate of my great Aunt Pauline that died in infancy. The original memorial for Pauline was created by Jean in 2006. I will send an email to Find A Grave and ask them to merge the duplicate of Matilda's memorial with yours so the tokens I have added will not be lost to her memorial. After that is resolved, I will send an email to the contributor and ask her to delete her duplicates of the remaining memorials and to contact you if she is directly related and would like to maintain their memorials. Thanks for closing out the photo request.

Happy Easter and thanks for your help!

Melody

Jewell Crase
Brenda,

You have contributed Jewell Crase and have his middle name as James. He was my great uncle. Can I ask how you found out his middle name? Nobody in our family seems to know!

Thanks,

Stacia

Brenda,
As a genealogist, you know how pleasing it is to help someone fill in the gaps - just as great as filling in one's own gaps!! Your lines you are looking for are very familiar to me as Oregon County names because I was raised in Oregon County. If I can help you there, just let me know.

Thank You
I don't know if I've thanked you for all the pictures you've taken for me, but i want you to know how much I appreciate you and your hard work. Thank you especially for my John D Taylor picture. Do you remember where in the cemetery you found this stone???? My grandmother told me he didn't have one, but thanks to you I proved her wrong. This was such a GREAT surprise and delight to see. I can never thank you enough.

There are some Combs headstones marked only "Combs" at the Francis Cemetery (Howell/Oregon county line). Any additional information would be appreciated.
