Behrends
May I transfer the Behrends memorials over to you? I have found a little more information about them and am grateful you left that message. It prompted me to look a bit further into some of them.

RE: P. Maile
I saw the pictures you posted, I really enjoy seeing pictures of the pioneers of Button Township.
Sophronia and Fronia Maile tombstone's, I didn't see them but there is a small stone right beside the other Maile stones and I can't read it. I will go back and look again now that I have these names. There may be more names on the stone that has Philena and Adam on it, the stone is really hard to read.
The library has obits for Glen Cemetery. There is a book with names listed by year and then you can go to the microfilm and find them. If you would like me to look I will if you provide me with the name and date of death.
If there is any information you want added or if you want the memorials transferred let me know.
Thank you for your help.

P. Maile
Hi Mark,

I posted a memorial in Glen Cemetery for Philen Maile. The stone is really hard to read, not sure I have the first name correct. On the other side of the stone is Adam Maile. Would this be a family member of yours? If so do you have any information to verify the spelling of the name?
Thank you,
Toni

Lindgren's and Baird's
I am going to transfer to Caroyln.

On the Flannery's and other information you have, I will be happy to add anything you have or I will transfer if you decide you want the memorials. It is exciting to gather additional information. I also took more pictures at Glen Cemetery last weekend and will start adding as soon as I get time! I am trying to do a section at a time instead of when I started taking pictures and was just doing it randomly! Have a great evening.

Lindgren Family
Mark,

Please look at the message left for me on my profile in regards to the Lindgren family by Carolyn Lindgren Wilson. She would like a transfer of the Lindgren connected memorials she has additional information and knows who all family members are. Do you care if I transfer to her? I am asking becasue you have made the first contact with me in regards to the Lindgren family.

RE: Glen Cemetery
I added the information you provided. I will continue to look for the Baird's. If my memory serves me correctly Myrtle Overstreet was married to Ben, Sr. They had Overstreet Jewelry in Paxton?

RE: Glen Cemetery
Hello!

I added several Lindgren's to Glen Cemetery today. Maybe you can provide some additional information so I can link family members? Also - on Oscar F. I can't read the dates on the picture of the stone, would you know the correct dates? If you look at Alvie ad Orel memorials - the pictures of the stones with A. Lindgren and O. Lindgren - this is one stone with one name on each side. I added to the memorials but I am not positive this is correct, I am just assuming based on the stone of Alvie and Orel becasue there is no other A. and O. Lindgren together. The only other O. is Oscar and he is on the stone with Minnie. Do you have any insight? If you want these transferred I will be happy to do so, or if not - let me know what information you have and I will add it. Have a great weekend.

RE: Glen Cemetery
I have never had any negative feedback - so far! I hope I don't, I am only doing this because I want to help people find their ancestors. I am always excited when I find my ancestors. It really has been interesting too, in Ford County it is amazing to see the names in different cemeteries that are the same from the 1800s and the 1900s. My Mom's family originally settled in Iroquois County and Taylor County, Kentucky and my Dad's family originally settled in Dewitt County. Yes, some of my family think I have a odd hobby - going to cemeteries - but I find it interesting. Sometimes - I can talk them into going with me if I am looking for a family member. I will keep looking for Lindgren's, Flannery's and Baird's in Paxton.

RE: Glen Cemetery
I added John and Jesse Flannery, (No Laverne beside these stones) Roy and John H. "Bobby" Hancock. Also added Charles W. and Emma M. Lindgren, don't know if any relation. Did not find other names you mentioned, will look again - it gets dark too early now to spend much time after work searching. If you want me to ttransfer these memorials to you I will or if you just me to add additional information to the memorials I will do this also.

RE: Glen Cemetery
Interesting information. I went to Glen Cemetery this morning for a minute but rainy, will go when I have more time and nicer weather. I think the Flannery stone is somewhat large and on the edge of a section. Probably this weekend. Will look for Lindgren too. There are several Moudy's I have added from cemeteries in the area. This is a name associated with Button Township. I have no idea why people came to Ford County but will ask around what other people think.

RE: Glen Cemetery
Hancock's - I do not have any other pictures on my camera for Hancock's, doesn't mean I didn't miss them. I will go back to cemetery and look further. On Flannery's, yes there are some at Glen Cemetery as I have seen the stones before, will look for these again also. Might be a few weeks. Can you look at Sarah Flannery Maile in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. From the stone I listed Flannery as the maiden name and Maile as sure name, not sure if I cam correct, do you know? Any other names you would like me to look for?
