Ammons cemetary
Hi David. Just wanted to let you know that it rained here three straight days so I've been waiting for the ground to dry up a bit before I can go out to take your photos. I'm anxious to take them so hopefully it will be soon.

RE: Ammons cemetary photos
Hello David.

I'm so glad I can help you out. I love taking the pictures and the older gravesites are really my favorite.

It's so interesting hearing about your 5x great grandmother. I got goosebumps when I read your message. So hopefully I can get some good pictures for you.

Take care,

Ammons cemetary photos
Hello David,

I'm from Germantown, IL and my brother-in-law's family owns the farm where the Ammons cemetary is located. In fact my sister lived there at one time. I can contact them and I should be able to get the photos for you.

I'd love to help you and I would love to have a picture of the headstone also but Ammons Cemetery is on private property. I made one trip up to try and get a picture but the owners were not home. Clinton County is about 3 hours away from where I live.

Hi David,

I have requested a photo of your GGGG Grandfather's marker. Hopefully it will be fulfilled soon, and the dates will be legible.

RE: Photos request
thank you david, isnt it a shame how cemeteries are allowed to disintegrate like that,i mean theres a person down there ,someones mom or dad, grandma or grandpa, aunt or uncle, son or daughter who had feelings, not to mention the grief that went along with each burial.
theres no hurry with the photos, just when ever you get a chance, thank you for going thru all the trouble to get them.
