RE: Watkins/ Mentz
I have added all info I have. Please note the death date may be interment date (it's about 50/50 but likely interment). Have you tried the WyCo Museum? They have quite a few of the old funeral home records & obituaries. Their number is 913-573-5002. They're wonderful out there! If you want a transfer, just let me know. Kim

RE: Information regarding the Paper Bulletin
It's actually via Nellie Dracup who married Thomas Sadler. I'm a descendant of the Dracup side of it.

George Dwight Cook
In the process of going through my parent and grandparents 'stuff', I came across an envelope with George D. Cook Clipping written on the envelope. Inside the envelope was a cutout from the news letter entitled "letter from a comrade of George D. Cook. It appears this was written for his mother after his death and was published in the (local I am assuming) newspaper. I'd like to send you a copy of it. Please send me your e-mail and I will send a copy to you.

I am still trying to figure out why my grandmother had it in her stuff. My grandfather was in WWI, but I am not sure he was ever in George's unit. He grew up in NYC, but also lived in Liberty. At the time he went into service, he was living in Youngstown, Ohio. Still trying to figure out why my grandmother would save something like this.
Thanks
Peg

Hope this helps I will look further and see what else I can find, but don't hesitate to call the library or send an email and I will get you the information for G D Cook.
