Sarah Fry Smith
Hi Polly,

I am a great, great granddaughter of Wesley Fry, the father of Sarah Fry Smith. My lineage is through Sarah's sister, Malissa.

I have been working on a book about Wesley Fry and I wondered if you have any information on that family that you could share with me. FOr example, I have not been able to find Wesley's parents' names.

Orville Ronald Little
Hi Polly,
Thank you so much for your postings on the Little family. Orville Ronald Little is my biological father, though he and my mom never married. I saw his mom, Myrtle Vestal Kearns, a few times through my early teens to early twenties before she passed away. That was just after my first child was born.
I think the listing on Myrtle's page for husband number one is incorrect.
It has Ronnie's name listed as spouse, rather than 'son'
I was always told that Ronnie never met his own Dad . Not sure if that's true, but I saw there was an Orville S Little listed as his father.

Gideon T. Macon # 68851384
Gideon married my gg aunt, Rebecca Hinshaw. I noticed he was born in 1765 per the Cemetery transcription. Am wondering if he fought in the Revolutionary War when he was ten years old? I've been unable to find any military records for this Gideon Macon.

She is not buried at Neighbors Grove, I was just there and spoke with the church office. Her and her parents are buried at Randolph Memorial Park, which I have pics of.

Correction for children of Isabell Josephine "Bell" York Routh & S L Routh
My grandmother was the daughter of Isabell Josephine "Bell" York Routh and S L Routh. Her name was Laura Francis Routh and she was married to William Larkin Kivett. She is not mentioned on Isabell's headstone and I have not looked at S L Routh to make sure shed is listed on his headstone or not. If it is not listed on their headstone here does that mean that she is not listed on the headstone at their grave either? I have been to their grave but the headstones are so old it is hard to read what is on the headstones.I'm sorry I don't know what I am thinking they don't usually list the kids names on the headstones. Is there a way that I can get a printout of the headstones of them after they have been corrected? Thank you

Memorial-Samuel Darcus Lambeth
22 Aug 2016
Hello, I am researching a Varner family and discovered your memorial #58223373 at Piney Grove Methodist Church, Jackson Creek, Randolph Co., NC - Samuel Darcus Lambeth. Apparently, this is a double burial as Samuel H. Lambeth, b. ca 1852, d. bwt 1885-1900 and his wife, Darcus Elizbeth (Varner) Lambeth, b. Mar 1855 d. 25 Jul 1922 are in the same spot. Their son, Alexander is also buried at Piney Grove. Could you make another memorial to Darcus and put the tombstone picture on her memorial also? We would have the same tombstone picture but could put dates with the memorials. Let me know if you still have the picture of the tombstone and could put it on a memorial for Darcus? Thanks for all you do at Find A Grave and your help. Bobbye Varner

John Urban Kennedy
My father was John's half brother. His name was Dalton Alexander Kennedy. Jason Franklin Kennedy was father to both men.
Could you please add Dalton as John's sibling? Thank you for managing this memorial.

Recently I received a message that you had fulfilled a request for a photo of the grave of Oliver Scott. All I saw was a tribute that you had left on his memorial, not a photo of his grave.

RE: birthdate of 2nd greatgrandfather John Goley
Thanks for letting me know the source. I'm still not quite sure that date is correct. Hoping to be able to make a trip back to North Carolina next year to search places I can't find on line and see if I can pin a birth date down...Sherrie Goley

birthdate of 2nd greatgrandfather John Goley
Hi Polly, thanks for putting the Goley's on find a grave. The birthdate you have for John Goley, Dec 16 1816, I can't seem to find any supporting evidence for. Did you find that date either on his grave monument or in Holly Springs Friends Cemetery records?
His parents William "Will" Gorley and Mary "Polly" Euliss Gorley were married 20 May 1819. That means that either John was born before his parents were wed or Will had a wife before Polly and that wife was John's mother. I would appreciate any information on this that you might be able to provide...thanks, Sherrie Goley Fields

Hi, I hope I did the edits right for this family. Lewis Steven Allen was Minnie's son not husband. I think her husband was also Lewis Steven Allen, but in 1940 Census he wasn't in the home, just Minnie and 2 sons. Lewis and Harvey. Thanks,
