Hi Louise.......I am sorry that I had not transferred Ginna to you sooner. I guess I over looked your message until yesterday. I had known Ginna for a good while. My heart was so broken when I learned about her death. I am glad to be able to transfer her to you. We both have many memories that will live in our hearts.

Hi Louise,
We've written back and forth via e-mail about the Plourdes. I wonder, since I'm on Find-A-Grave now, may I ask you to transfer management of my great-grandmother's memorial to me? Her ID is 142151698. My ID is 49103048. Many thanks! Benoit

The Keans at St Joseph
Hi Lulu
I am working with a Colleen Kean, she is making a family tree for her parents. She has the same Keans that you do only with different dates of birth. Julia Horan Nicholson has a dob of 1808 and death date of 1923

I while ago I uploaded Mary Nicholson Kean the stone has a dob of 1834 death 1915, Married to Michael. Yours has 1827 to 1915

Can you shed any light on Sarah Nicholson McDermott, Julia Nicholson McMahon... I have her spouse as Peter, I think you have James.

I think this is the same family. Anyway this young lady would like to e mail you, so I told her I would speak with you first. Is it ok to give her your e mail.
Hope this finds you well. We are having wonderful weather here in NH it was 85 today 86 yesterday which broke the record.

Warm Regards..... Pat Van Den Berghe

Hi Lulu:

I have uploaded the grave photos of the Gelly's in Pine Grove. Not so lucky with the "Jelly" in Mt. Calvary. I brought over a copy of the death certificate that he was buried there and they promised that they would do their best to find it. They explained that they have already done an exhaustive search, but the death certificate certainly was distressing to them.

Let's hope for the best.

Warm Regards

My husband, Pete doesn't remember your husband, and I am 63 years old. I retired at 60 when Pete had a stroke. We did't know how things were going to work out, but he is doing ok. I had him air lifted to Mass General from CMC and it made the difference. He had intensive therapy at Spaulding Rehab (where the Bruins, Patriots and Red Sox go for issues) he was there for 4 weeks. It costs a fortune but well worth it.

I didn't get out to the cemeteries today as we had some water in our basement after a heavy rain this morning.

Hope your day is going well.

Warm Regards

I can't remember when Genest Bakery ceased to exist but it has been along time. My husband grew up on the West Side and his family is buried at St Joe's in Bedford. I have never been in the old part of St Joe's but that might be my next project. I have never seen so many Irish names, and many civil war soldiers which are my passion. That is actually what I started out to do in the Valley Cemetery, but one family leads to another and than I am off and running in several different directions, plus there are some juicy stories out of the Valley which of course makes it even better.

Good Afternoon Louise

I can't wait to see the death certificate for James as they refused to belive he might be buried in Mt. Calvary. They even went to the written books that the keep out back to be sure they hadn't missed him when they computerized.
I am surprised that Delphine is buried alone. It could be however, that the lot with as many children as mentioned was full and I assume you are right that she is buried near the family. Imagine all those children, I can't even keep up with two cats at this point!

I just finished taking photos of Manchester 5, men (in Mt. Calvary) who were killed in Vietnam on the same day, they were riding in a truck that hit a landmine and all 5 were killed. It was such a horrific day here in Manchester, thousands of people lined the streets to say farewll. The lady who did the request is from Canada and two of the men were cousins and relatives of hers so she decided to do all of them. I find it most distressing that only two had flags and flowers. The rest so barren, I will take care of them as well as your Delphine. It seems like once a generation has passed that tradition of paying respect to the dead is gone.

You take care and I look forward to seeing the death certificate. I was going to head out to do some other photos... but it is 98 degrees. I am photographing the Valley Cemetery here in Manchester, over 5,000 graves, about 11,000 people total. MOst of the records prior to 1882 were destroyed in a fire, so I doubt I will ever get them all, so many didn't have markers, or the markers they had such as stones or wooden crosses have been lost over time. I just found a grave of a doctor and the stone has 12 people on it and the cemetery lot book has only one person. What a mess, but it keeps me out of trouble.

Warm Regards

Grandmother Delphine
The photo is up, unfortunately nothing could be located on James, and they even pulled out the books in the back rather than using the computer.

Do you have any idea when he died? I could check the library newspaper archives to see if I could find a cemetery?

Let me know, also let me know dates on Donald Gelly and I wlll see if I can locate him?

I don't want to offend but would they be buried in a french canadain Cemetery? There are so many cemeteries in Manhester.

Warm Regards?

I am going back out today, yesterday I located the 5 vietnam war vets that will killed and another grave site but could not locate yours, I will also give them he different possible spellings of Jelly, pray for me! I was asking my grandfather Clarence for assistance (never met him) and he usually guides me in the right direction.

Must have been thunder rain clouds and the rumble of thunder that he wouldn't help.

RE: John Proctor

I just checked my family tree on Ancestry, and I have him being born in NC and his daughter Unity Proctor who m. Aaron Hargrove, she died in Nash County, NC. Is that the Nash you're talking about? Or is there one in Tennessee too?

Thank you so much for all your help! You really seem like you know what you're doing. Are you in the DAR or any other lineal societies?
