Van Stelle, Maria
I deleted this entry. Probably a duplicate because I had a space in the name between Van and Stelle.
Thanks for the info! DR

RE: Hendrika Swets
Good call on the birth date for Hendrika. I didn't check the Dutch birth record. I should know better after finding so many birth dates on the headstones of the old Dutch that don't match the Dutch birth records. I don't think they celebrated birth days back then like we do now, so it is possible that in some cases the parents never told their children the correct date of their births, so these people just went through life which a date that they believed to be correct. Other then confusing us, it made no real difference to them.

RE: Minnie Gouwens

Thanks for the offer, but you can hold on to this page. I'm not related to this person, I'm an historian from The South Holland Historical Society. I've been going to this cemetery and finding the stones of all the early settlers of South Holland and making sure they all have a page on Find a Grave with a picture of their headstone, their correct birth & death date, and a picture of them if we have that in our files. I've also been trying to link them with their parents and children if possible. I have completed most of the Old Holland Section of this cemetery where the oldest graves are. Thank you for your help by posting your pages, this has made it easier for me.
Are you Frisian? My wife's family is Frisian, their name is Feikema.

Thanks again,
Glen DeYoung

Ponciano G. "Ponce" Zavala
If you look at the dates for Ponce Zavala and Peter Nydam, you will see that Peter died 3 years before Ponce was born and lived in Illinois. To me it's obvious that somebody made a mistake linking the two up. This is a link that I can't remove but I have sent in an EDIT to have this corrected.

I have deleted the dupes. Sorry it took so long but my emails have been "Lost in Space" for about 4 days and I didn't want to delete before hearing from you. Looks good now! Let me know if there any others.

RE: Peter Peterson
Hello, I'm not sure how to call you, whether it is Lenore or Frisian. Thank you for the bio update on Peter, that's so exciting. My searching began when I was amazed to find hardly any information on my grandmother, Ellen Hoekstra Polderman. She was a dear loving lady. I would love to see any information you have on Anna Delstra and Harm Hoekstra. A friend of mine helped me find Peter's grave and when I saw that my eyes nearly popped out. Up until recently I did not know about the connections. There are no longer any living relatives with information. I know that Peter was loved by my mother, aunt, and grandmother Ellen. I asked a cousin about Peter and all she could say was, "Everyone just called him Grandpa Peterson". So anything you can give me would be greatly appreciated! You can reply to this or my email is Thank you, Harold VanderVelde

I love that you are so prompt in doing the updates unlike others who ignore you and you don't know if they are dead or alive. :)

RE: transferred memorials
Well, I only owned the one for Adrian Sr. Transferred him to you. You must be related to Diane Feenstra. Actually, I think I had a listing of all the "F's" that were on the Faasse page that I got from the office to find Martin & Mary's grave per Diane's photo request. So I just entered everybody on that page in the database ... There are quite a few more Faasse's ... Do you want them too?

Also, there was no death date for Flowell, so I didn't enter her name.

RE: transferred memorials
I'm not related to any of the Faasse's ... I think I fulfilled a photo request for somebody named Faasse, and as I was walking through the cemetery, I noticed these stones, so I photographed them ... I'll transfer them to you too ... I really don't need them :)

Hi ... I transferred 4 memorials to you ... I think that covers all of them that you referred to. :)
Question for you ... are you any relation to a Cora Rosendall who married Albert VanPutten? Albert was a sibling to my husband's gr-grandmother, Susanna VanPutten Pannekoek
