Good question about the dates. Think it must have been a typo. I sent a copy of another obit to MillieBelle who is the manager. Hope she'll correct the date. Thanks for noticing. Sorry for the delay in answering. Best, Kathryn

Sorry, I don't know about the correct DOD. It is a bit strange, but I just posted the photo. You might check with MillieBelle who originated the site. She probably posted the obit too.

Hello Linda,

I entered the above number you provided and the name Philip Canavan comes up. The best way to ask for corrections is to go to the memorial and click on the edit tab and enter the correct info that way. The corrections will get to me and makes adding corrections much easier for me.

Thank you.

Rose

RE: Evelyn C Grover
No, I don't know if C was a middle or maiden initial. The cemetery lists as a middle initial but they don't have a place to list maiden initials so it could certainly be that.

She is buried next to HUBERT D MABRY but I don't know if that indicates a relationship or not.

One thing you could do is ask for a photo. There are some very active photographers at that cemetery. (Which does make me wonder if she has a marker since one of them already photographed Hubert Mabry's marker.)

RE: Thanks!
Dear Linda,
I don't know if we are related in some way or not!! It is worth researching though. My grandparents and great-grandparents are McCormick and buried in Texas. They are some of my online memorials I have created. Check it out!! Thanks for leaving a token for my mother, Ruby Joyce McCormick. She would always say "Thank you Honey!!"

If you are a member on Ancestry.com do a search for Minnie Lavon Baker. A family tree comes up for Linker, Brashears, Baker. Alma Crow is listed as a parent for Minnie. You might contact the owner of this tree and find out what you need to know.

If you give me your mother's name and the father listed on her birth certificate I will call some of the Crows in town and see what I can find out.

Send it to my e-mail: danmcgill@suddenlink.net to keep it private.
