RE: Franz pictures
The family monument on the lot is the only marker--there are no individual stones.

Names in Stone
Mary Humrighouse in Stone Creek Cem.
sorry, I really cannot help you, the memorial was based on Cemetery records, there is a gentleman that is adding pictures to the cemetery, maybe if you check back later on, he will have put Mary's on and maybe William will be with her.
Good luck with your search.

Sorry, cut and paste error. Do you find Find A Grave has slowed done (files loading) since they loaded the site with ads?

RE: Fannie Bowles Homrighouse
I have not found her in the 1900 census. She and her parents are in Anderson County in 1880, 1885. She and her husband and children in Garnett in 1920, 1930. The children were born in Ohio c1906, 1908 and in Tennessee c1910, so I would look there. Chances are, with a name like Homrighouse, it was transcribed in some strange spelling in the census index.......

Fannie Bowles Homrighouse
After clicking "Accept" on your edit request, I decided to double check and do some research. Census records from 1880 through 1920 list her as Fannie E, so I changed the memorial back. Her grandmother Bowles was named Frances, and, at a guess, she was named after her.

Sorry for the confusion, and good luck with your research.

RE: Maria Levy Humrichouse
Wish I could have found a stone. I am sure there was one at one point. I have asked in the office if there is a pile anywhere on the grounds of the missing broken stones and they say no. It is obvious that broken stones were removed since there are plots where "stumps" remain.

I found an article about the Greve Cemetery from the 1980s. Do you have access to the Chicago Tribune databases?

RE: Homrighaus #170569316
Are you in the Fairfield Cemetery area...Libertyville and or Barrington area?

The Bar. library does not have a original list. They lose things and or they get stolen. The Barr. historical society might have copies.

RE: Homrighaus #170569316
A possibility is the Fairfield grave after 1953 reading could have been moved or just the headstone. Don't know. I need to review the original lists from the 1953 inventory and see the order of Homrighaus . Is this your relative?

Homrighaus #170569316
Interesting Homrighaus burials sites. I have revised the bio on the above.
The "Homrighaus" headstone was there at Fairfield Cemetery in 1953. Then a 2012 inventory failed to turn up the Homrighaus stone.

Thanks for the notice.

Record for Homrighouse, Clifton Wilbur
Dear Glenn ---

Clifton Wilbur Homrighouse is my great-grandfather. His first wife and the mother of his three children is Margaret Rees, born in Wales in 1875. Margaret immigrated to the United States in 1881 when she was 6 years old. Clifton and Margaret were married in 1896 when she was 21. They had three daughters, as follows:

Alta G. Homrighouse, born 1896
Clara B. Homrighouse, born 1898
Beatrice Elizabeth Homrighouse, born 1902

The family lost Margaret in about 1906, the cause of death of which I am unsure. I also am unsure of the exact date of her death or where she is buried.

Is this something you would be able to help me track down?

I very much want information on Margaret, but my documentation thus far is the 1900 Census and our family bible.

Beatrice is my grandmother. She married John Carl Olinger (1899-1977), with whom she had two children, Elizabeth Ann (1928-2016) and James Carl (1930-2016). James is my father.

Clara and Alta, my grandmother told me, each were driven from the home because they chose to marry men who were Catholic. I do not know their married names.

Thank you for your research into my great-grandfather.

I am always happy when I find more family members than what I set out to find. That is a very interesting last name; I've never heard of it before. I'll watch for others whenever I'm out there!

Best regards,

Hi Glenn! I will transfer all of the ones I found next to Gladys. I just forgot about it. I usually do it automatically when I've fulfilled photo requests.

I'm at work right now but I'll get to it shortly. Thanks for your patience.
