Ken Marks
Marks Family
Sorry to bother you but do you know of any Marks family name associated with the McDaniel family name? My Grandfather was from Tuscaloosa and he said his middle name was McDaniel and they called him Mack when he was a kid. he never said much more about it. Thanks for your time,
Ken Marks

Find A Grave Memorial # 58952040
May I use the photo you added to the Charles Neal Winkles Find A Grave memorial for his profile on my Ancestry.com site? Neal was the son of my paternal great aunt, Georgia "Lizzie" Camp, whose brother was my grandfather. Do you happen to know where she is buried? I have created a memorial for her father, Charles J Camp and two of her sisters.

Thank you very much,
Diane Camp Wolcott

I found William for you, he was right there in plain sight, but hard to identify, as you can see. I'm happy to help you with the photo, and let me know if there is anything I can help you with.

Buckley Photo Request
The only Buckley I found in Prentiss Cemetery is Edna M Buckley. She was buried in the same row as the Rouses. There were a few empty spaces between them. I added her and the tombstone photo.

RE: Louise 'McDaniel' Glover
You are quite welcome. I haven't had a chance to see who is memorialized in the cemetery yet, but I did mange to photograph the cemetery in its entirety. Very many of the graves have been heavily damaged and are beyond repair, some are in trees. Literally. Several of the Burgin and McDaniel family stones are included. The cemetery was hit in the storms that came through on April 27th, 2011.

Virgel Mealer
I just found the pictures of Virgel Mealer at Burnt Mountain Baptist Cemetery that you posted in October 2011. You had said you were attending the family reunion in September and would see what you could find. Thanks so much, Barb, for all your hard work. I have looked and looked and looked for any info other than the 1900 Federal Census and just couldn't get anywhere...it's so hard when you live in another state and can't run to libraries and court houses, etc. so I thank God every day for the Ancestry.com members and FindAGrave volunteers who take the time to care about others' families....please, keep in touch and if you ever need anything in my area, don't hesitate, okay???? Shirley

RE: Mealers
Hello Barbara & Curtis,

You are very welcome, thanks so much for your kind note.

Unfortunately, according to my transcriptions, John O. Mealer is the only Mealer buried in Greenlawn-Southwest. If there are additional Mealer's, I assume they are without headstone as I photographed the entire cemetery in 2007 and return annually for updates. Thus far, I haven't seen any others.

If you have any additional surnames that you wish me to search, PLEASE don't hesitate to holler. :)

Happy Holidays!

RE: Mealer
Hi,

I didn't actually take the picture but KCB1765@aol.com did. She contacted me after I claim the photo project. She has taken pictures of the entire cemetery and wanted to help. I'm sure if you contact her she could check for you. Just let her know what I passed her email address along.
If by some chance she doesn't get back to you let me know and I will forward her your email.
