Thanks for the additional information

Thanks for the information on Elsie Roberts Deaner Finlayson's parents. I have linked her to them. How are you related to Elsie?

I hope you have a Happy New Year!

Judie, admittedly, your memorial (40354714) as it stands now, is more complete than memorial no. 19681311. However, under Findagrave guidelines, I believe the correct response to this situation is to submit edits to the older memorial to add the missing information and then delete the newer duplicate memorial. I have submitted edits vs 19681311 to add the additional material. I'm waiting for those edits to be incorporated. I have also e-mailed the creator of that memorial asking for the edits to be incorporated.
Thanks,
Donald J. Ward

Hi Judie
You are welcome. I also have a photo of the headstone for James J. and Catherine Spencer. Lillian's stone is just to the right and in front of their stone. Next time I go to Holy Cross I will try get a picture of of the two together. And if you want I will transfer management of James and Catherine's memorials to you.

RE: John H. Kimble
Hi, thanks for responding. I'm not related to John Kimble, and I didn't pick up on the middle initial. I was trying to find a World War I veteran to add a photo of the Grant County (WV) War memorial, and JVK fit the general age, so I was wondering if he was from or had connections to Grant County, WV, and if he died in WWI. Looks like I have a different John Kimble, and there are many on Findagrave. Thanks again for responding, and I hope you had a great weekend.

Hi, You created a memorial for a John H. Kimble, and his name is one a large stone with many other names. Do you know what all of these people had in common or why they are all listed on the same memorial stone? Thanks.

RE: Thomas & Susannah Jones
Hi Judie, just to let you know I received your message. What a blessing to receive a response from another descendant of Thomas R. and Susannah Jones.
I am a descendant of Alfred John Jones, born in 1837, their first child and am in touch with a descendant of George E. Jones, born in 1864. I'm not sure what route this email takes, but will contact you thru your email address with more information.
Sincerely, Richard Jones.

RE: Lewis Schisler
I am still trying to find an obit, since i dont even have a year its like a nail in a haystack, lucky its an unusual name. I have seen it spelled schissler also. I am wondering if we are related. I have not come across many in maryland. My gr-gr-gr-grandmother was Catherine Eva Schisler who was born in 1838 born in Bayern, Germany, came here with family in 1846. her parents were i think Mary and George Schisler. She had siblings, John H. born 1840, Henry born 1843, Elizabeth born 1846 and Margaret born 1850. So your Lewis fits in that time frame. They stayed in Baltimore and most are buried in Loudon Park. Catherine Schisler married Henry Wagner who lived in Harford County, so that is where Lewis is buried. I will go through more census and see what i can find.
